Look at the table for different materials. The difference between silver and copper is not gonna make that many ohms difference at least at the length of your headphone cable

Not by silver alone, but by separate grounds as in balanced mode and being solid core instead of multi strand. But seeing 15% quality control that makes me struck gold as I have one of the highest quality on my fostex Th900 ?

Thank you for your exemple and the link

Time to go for carbon nanotube fiber cables :p

Hell...that is an excellent idea...while we are at it, why don't we use silver or carbon nano tube cables to be used as a voice-coil ? Let's just start a kick-starting campaign lol...none the less, for silver to be making it way into the cables world took a while...I doubt I can see carbon nanotube cables, or graphene cables anytime soon!

Beside, I had been wondering alone...why in the hell does all of the higher-end audiophile gears cost an arm and a leg....and still not having any silver, or graphene in it ? Say hd800, and how about the new Orpheus....still copper...What a shame ....

Seems the TH-900Mk2 will be a detachable cable version of the original TH-900: http://av.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20151218_736182.html

Wonder if the connectors are the Sennheiser/Fitear type :-

I'd rather like them to change or modify the screw arrangement for the cups.

What is wrong with the screws order onto the cups ? They are ridiculously easy access...?

Surprised they're not selling an alternate version with the TH-X00 cups

What surprise me more is that they don't offer Cups for their th900 as accessory...you see ? Lawton cups :D...hell they are easily exchangeable by unscrew-then screw

The screw itself is notoriously small and delicate.  It is the main reason for the hanger assembly failures reported time and time again over the years.

They need to "beef" up the complete assembly IMO.
