Was taking some photos of my TH900s today to sell them. The finish on these things is still one of the finest on any consumer product I've ever seen. The finish is strikingly beautiful and has great depth. It glitters subtly in intense red colors.

And...approaching 100 hours, I still can not hear any changes ? Lol, this is the first high-end gear that I have yet to hear any changes or improvements as "burn-in" stated......Yes, the Urushi is very beautiful to look at. I call it eyes candy :D. Th900 details retrieval is crazy, and it makes me realize much more on the tracks in my collections of which was mastered carefully on the vocal and trebles presents. On good recording the trebles sound so detailed, organic, splashy, and not instrusive, while the bad one would be sibilant and ears piercingly uncomfortable....

Strangely enough that th900 sounds with recessed mid from my rxv-477, but just as good as Z7 out of zx2 ? I think the recessed mid has something to do with out put impedance ?

Yeah it's weird. The TH900 mids are more recessed on a Lyr2 compared to on a Burson Soloist.

Im not sure if out put impedance has much to do with perception of mids. Different amps use different dac chips and such that color the sound, euphonically speaking. So as an example hpa8 mids with akm dac chip ( I like this synergy) sounds different than hugo with FPGA and taps.

The thing is that my Z7 has the same characteristic on the mid when used on rxv477, and on zx2. It bass will differ though, however th900 mid is more recessed on rxv477 and is very good on zx2 ? I don't even know why, that is why I call it very strange

Anyways, my review is up. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy
