Rising by Rainbow - I loved the first Rainbow album but it didn't have Stargazer; the second album, Rising, did and it is on a whole other level because of it - one of the greatest rock songs ever made :L3000:

This is an extremely well-recorded album. Audiophile quality from 1973, a good example of what analog mastering is cable of

A stellar punk rock work that is super fun and entertaining.. The girls are all really solid on their instruments, knowing how to put a song together with amazing hooks and solid structure. Growing up is really a fitting title, given the musicians' ages ranging between 12 and 17. Also greatly engineered with the super uncle's aid (an award-winning producer and engineer). It didn't take long for me to be their fan. Looking forward to see where they go next.

Getting to know my recently acquired Hifiman HE6se V2. Got it connected to an Onkyo NR727 AVR via a DIY speaker-tap-to-4-pin-XLR converter box. "Before the Dawn Heals Us" by M83, positively magical. Such a vibrant, vivid, emotional ride, and this headphone's portraying it with aplomb.

Out Of The Ancient World by Riversea - I keep coming back to this band (duo really), UK neo-prog-rock at it's finest. Definite influence of Steve Hogarth era Marillion except Marc Atkinson is a far, far better singer :L3000:
