Impressively storytelling work. Not like any other jazz vocal albums I've heard (including her previous works). The collection and sequence of songs must be smartly intended. It's like gazing through a musical scrapbook that documents the scattered moods of a particular time. Really like that those arrangements vary in size including some unusual quarters.
The sound is warm, crisp, and detailed. The reverb on the church tracks feel very natural as opposed to electronic/artificial. Overall, superb recording quality.

Probably my favorite Rainbow album. Gates of Babylon has a very Egyptian like feel to it. Some of Ritchie Blackmore's best work.
The guitar leads are fabulous in this one.

Out Of The Ancient World by Riversea - I keep coming back to this band (duo really), UK neo-prog-rock at it's finest. Definite influence of Steve Hogarth era Marillion except Marc Atkinson is a far, far better singer

The HD650 do a fantastic job presenting this album in the way it was meant to be heard.

The K702 were my first headphones when I got into this crazy hobby. Think I'll look around for an authentic pair made in Austria (hard to find these days).

Very powerful and forwarding orchestration. This is one of my favorite recordings among contemporary classical musics. It also presents a supreme test for capability of audio components and their matching. Every audible frequency is elegantly on display through various instruments. I do like how excellently this work was engineered.
