Model/Actriz - Dogsbody

MP145 / Q5K

Excellent, bombastic mixture of new wave/industrial/post punk with a whole slew of electronics over the whole thing, one of my favorites from last year

* Edited all kinds of things, songwhip is neat idk why I haven’t been using that.

Taking in the sunset here on my deck, smoking wedding cake and having dessert with my ears... a little west coast psychedelic rock with a distinctly Canadian flare.

Tidal 16/44 -> iBasso DX320 -> FiR Audio Rn6

Superb album this. I remember the pink floydish 'defector' and spacey 'bakersfield'. Will hear this next.

I fancied something a bit more subdued and melodic tonight so I started with Can't Buy A Thrill and worked my way through my Steely Dan albums and am currently up to Aja, their sixth album. The quality of song writing and recording on SD albums is among the best and the attention to detail is pretty much unrivalled. That detail comes through crisp and clean through the HD800S, they really let you listen to the music as intended.

Hisenior T4 and Simgot DEW4X

Ambient electronica while rushing trough some overdue work, nice way to forget time while working.

I don't really listen to many soundtracks, but I gave this a shot after I got it recommended. Not bad if you are into that type of sound, which I can be and am today :)

Tidal, Moondrop Dawn Pro and Letshuoer S12 Pro

On Fiio FD11

Fidgy! Not bad, not bad at all! More sub bass than Trio. Less mid bass than Trio. Less warm than Trio. Snappier sub-bass. More clinical and robust. Guess that will seem as if it's more tactile to the dancing Croats. Simgot EA500 ish tonality without that crappy harshness/fatigue treble, and much-better bass. Less balanced than Trio. Trio for the heavy-slow-low-cooking-warm Doom Metal. Your FD11 for stuff like this in this post, and the rapid percussive n techno stuff. Win-win both. My music lib probably tilts me more towards Trio for that thick-bassy-warmth. But win-win, i guess. Let me give it a week and see if anything changes with more listening. I don't really do burn-in as a separate process, let it flow as i keep hearing.

Next is what? Thatrokusan-yon-ears aka 634 ears's Miroak-2 which seems to be with the customs in my city. Now then ...

Got them!!! :)
Hmm, mostly agree...partly not :) To me, FD11 do everything well...amazingly quality bass ($35???)...not tfrrr bass (a pot bass), but bmbdh bass :)))
I would give Trio an edge only in clarity and instrument separation. It is not balanced as well as FD11 (to me).
FD11 budget kings for me...for everything :)
Trio is just a step behind..if the bass is better...I'd almost say as good...but...it's still Tfrrrr bass :)

Enjoy, boss...hope you think it's a good investment!

Cheers!

Oh yes, certainly a very good investment! Will explore more. Thanks for the reco! And great fit. Another iem to sleep with. The light tear-drop shaped Sivga Nightingale is spectacular in that regard. This one too is sitting snug within my ears now in bed. Let's see if it's too bright for nighttime - that sivga casts a gently-lush vieled soundscape perfect for nights with a two hour sleep timer on Apple music. Though not many seem to have liked it . It seems it was made for my nocturnal pleasure!
Might have to change the night music genre for this bright enthu kid in school fd11. Will figure out as I go along.
