TH900 + Tricky - Maxinquaye. Absolute classic of an album. Sounds only better after each listen. :beerchug:

[Edition of Contemporary Music: recorded November, 1974; released June, 1975.] A fine trio outing led by pianist Richie Beirach (who was also on Dave Liebman's classic recording: Lookout Farm).

I have no intention of ever giving up my over-ears, but dang do I dig these IEMs.

Symphonium Meteor < Mojo 2 < iPhone (Roon Arc)

My Woman (2016), Angel Olsen

Freshly home from seeing her perform a solo set tonight. Reminded me of just how good she is without all the unnecessary instrumentation and production that characterize her more recent albums. Listening to this album from before over-production started burying her incredible voice.

OSI are a recording project of Jim Matheos (Fates Warning) on guitar and keyboards and Kevin Moore (Chroma Key & Dream Theater) on keyboards and guitar with the help of Gavin Harrison on drums. The music is quite dark so the DT1990's help brighten it up a bit.
