For those of us with multiple headphones, which ones are you listening with now?

Taking in the sunset here on my deck, smoking wedding cake and having dessert with my ears... a little west coast psychedelic rock with a distinctly Canadian flare.

Whoa. Fantastic stuff. Came for the excellent album cover, stayed for the dark psychedelia.

Esoteric, 'The Pernicious Engima'

Ahab guitarist Christian Hector at loudwire:

"This is one of those albums that makes you think the musicians actually are in pact with some utterly weird spirits. It's a very important album for Ahab and, by now, an album full of friends."

Really great album, if you are into the genre of sampled, downtempo electronics from 20+ years ago :)

K712 Pro + Acid Bath - When The Kite String Pops. Just bought the album on CD, underrated cult classic from 90's. Sadly this group is no more.

I love that headphone hobbyists encourage and condone not just polyamory, but polymorphous perversity. Means I can wander into IEMs for a few weeks and still come back happy to the Focal Elex.

Ghosted (2022), Oren Ambarchi, Johan Berthling, and Andreas Werliin

And more Oren Ambarchi. Dude wears so many different hats, not only because he's a multi-instrumentalist, but because he suffers from his own version of polymorphous perversity when it comes to genre and style. In contrast to some of his slower, more ambient work, this release has real drive and, dare I say, groove.

Listened to this album last night, and had one of those this is why I love music moments, truly incredible album. Mixture of IDM/jazz/ambient/post dubstep, find a quiet space and give this album your full attention… it’s worth it.

One of the better electronic albums I've heard in recent years. That album really takes you to a different world.
