@Aornic...

Well done!  At first when I saw the length I thought....is he making a movie?  Very informative and thought out.  The Elear's are on my list for next year....already spent this year's budget.  The upcoming Nightowl might be on the list too as I really like the Nighthawk......

Thanks mate. Yeah it went on a bit but I wanted to get all the details out there because I had requests for comparisons on my Elear unboxing video.

Ok. Serious question. Is anyone else getting tangled up in this cable besides me? Starting to feel like a fish caught in a net at this point. My one minor quibble. Rant over.

+1

^ I literally never even plugged in the stock cable. Been using Audioquest Nighthawk balanced cable with adapters for the Elear. . Great cable, solid copper conductors, etc.

Amazon has an amazingly easy return process. Go to your order, select the return, then state why, print label, ship back to Amazon .

No, if they died so soon just set up an exchange through Amazon (reason for return: defective product). I'd only ever go through the manufacturer once past the return period with Amazon

Allow me to offer a suggestion. Contact the seller directly inorfer to be able to speed up your replacement. I'm not sure who your seller is, possibly AudioLabs? They should be able to shorten your down time significantly.

WHat is the process like I send them my pair and they send me a another pair that's how it works right?
They have to follow the Amazon policy exactly but it should cut your down time down by a few days. So call them and ask them to take care of it for you. If they give you the Edmonton Alberta distribution center that is ok too. The dealer might have a replacement in stock.
