Three years later I have finally made it. I am the owner of a new set of Clear's. I had wanted the Pro's originally, but beggars can't be choosers.
My oily hair and skin with be a challenge with the bright colour.
Of interest, to you? This is what I use:

Cool! My wife made me one for my Elegia's that I will use. Not sure about the ear pads. I bought an extra set of Elex pads from Drop. I will have to compare them to the Clear pads and try them out.

One advantage to the Dekoni fenestrated sheepskin earpads, besides sonics, is their ease of cleaning:

I do like the Dekoni pads. I have a pair of sheepskins that are a little too bassy that I bought for my Elegia's. I wish I could trade them for a pair of fenestrated, but that's how it goes.

They do sound wonderful right out of the box. Going through my new to me Pepper Adams and Cannonball Adderly tunes.

I am running laptop files to BF2 to Violectric V220 to Clear's. I also have the Elex's plugged into the same amp as they will fight each other for survival in the collection.

Congratulations!
I bought a Geekria (almost matching) gray headband cover for the Clear OG.

To me the Clear OG are the perfect headphones.....however I am seriously seriously considering a jump to the OG Utopia as they have been heavily discounted with the 2022 release.

Does anyone own both or tried both and can chime in? not sure if this is right thread to ask.

I owned both for a while and ultimately preferred the Utopia (OG) while still enjoying the Clear OG. About half, perhaps more, of those I knew who owned both preferred the Clear OG.

To my ears, the Utopia were more energetic and assertive, with more detail/resolution from top-to-bottom and a more liquid and coherent midrange. Many found the Utopia's treble too aggressive. Soundstage was not remarkable, but I found the overall presentation quite engaging. I drove the Utopia with the excellent ecp DSHA-3F amp with the Chord Qutest as source. (In hindsight, a good R2R DAC might have been a better complement.)

I've since "downsized" and the Clear OG are now doing just fine as my "dynamics of choice".

Hi , I'm new to this thread. I own elear before, Im amazed by how it's looks , and build quality. But I don't like the mid dips on elear. Tried elear + elex pads and it's very good , solve the problem.

But I already let go of my elear long time ago. Now I'm getting a clear OG (maybe, im still not sure am I able to get it or no). I hope I can in early 2023.

Is anyone experienced pairing clear OG with hiby r3 saber? Is there any problem? Thanks.

Btw this is my first post on head fi ^^

Has anyone purchased a new pair from Headphones.com recently? I'd like to pick up a pair, but I remember reading lots of posts about Clear OG driver failure.

If you bought from headphones.com, were they really brand new in box, or B-stock?

They don't have any more open box models. I got a pair this week and they were brand new.

It's not a recent purchase, but I bought OG Clears from headphone.com when the model was new on the market. There was a rattling noise in one of the drivers, and headphones.com replaced the Clears quickly and without any trouble at all. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again, and the replacement Clears have been problem-free.

Hello welcome to headfi,
If I was you I would try the Meze 109 pro before going up right away to the Focals or the Hd6xx series
