I just returned my 64audio U18t since i auditioned the Clear same day i made the purchase. But man, all i needed was 1 day to go back and return the IEM. Clear's sound was so addictive. My ears lean towards laid back cans more so i preferred it over Utopia and Audeze LCD4.

No IEM on earth would match with Clear.

Only compared to headphones like the utopia and lcd4 and maybe the elear can you call the clear laid back. Because the clear ain't laid back, they're quite dynamic.

I would have more auditions if our dealer had more options. So yeah, they are dynamic no question. If you compare it to Utopia, it is more laid back than Utopia (not everything else).

Finally got to A/B the Clear today against my HD 800S. I was very impressed by the clear i have to say. My local store will hopefully have them in stock in May. Much more bass and oomph. Soundstage was very impressive as well. Not as comfortable as the 800S.

Been toying around with the Schiit reminds me of some of my psych case studies) Lyr 3 and tube rolling. The Clear/Schiit/Sylvania Bas Boy ‘52, is quite impressive. Much bigger headstage than I used too with the Clear, not Abyss level, but great for the Clear. Plus great control on the bass, while the Focals don’t need a lot of power to sound good, I think the bass needs the control offered by a powerful amp.
