‘Extremely OT, but is Head-Fi loading very unstably for anyone else? I could barely load any page on Head-Fi last night unless I was on mobile data. It wasn’t as bad later in the night, but it’s happening again right now. I don’t believe my wi-fi is the issue. Every other page loads fine. Anyone else finding this too?

Hmm... maybe it’s a regional thing? I can load any other page just fine. On wi-fi, even if the page does manage to load, it’s missing all icons, images, etc. Mobile’s the only way I can get on here at the moment. And, even then, it’s also slower than usual. It’s the same across my laptop, phone and desktop. I tried changing the access point I connect to as well; no dice.

Are you using a VPN?

IG and FB doesn’t play nice with my VPN on my Mac.

for people feeling bad of not owning a 6K iem , let me sprinkle some sanity here

for the last 4 years i am having a hell of a time with my portable setup (sony wm1a > pw awdio 1960s 2wire > EE Zeus XR) which cost me in total (let me calculate the exact amount..) 3000$

1 iem , 1 Dap , 1 cable - it's doable.

it’s justified to me because it raises the bar in so many sonic areas we discuss with audio...bass, treble, staging, layering...it’s all the best I’ve heard, and it’s in one package...crazy stuff.

I think what he means to say is that it's not worth it despite owning it. Being able to buy something doesn't make it worth it. BUT...it's all about context. I don't think any of my gear is 'worth it' to people who can't appreciate it, which is 99% of people out there at a guess. It's worth it to ME though, so if that's your meaning, then yes, as long as it's worth it to you then I guess it's 'worth it'.

My entire sig cost me ~$5000 (what I paid for it, not what it's 'worth'). So it's very doable. Swapping it all for one of the Hyper IEMs. Not worth it. Not even close. For me.

If you're ever looking to procure Van Nuys products in future, I had a relatively painless experience with a forwarding service, with minimal customs issues to the UK. Glad you found a case though, that looks awesome...and what a collection of IEMs too, nice!
