Red, clear and gold combo for me (ULF + / LF - / MF + / HF =).
Even the grey tube is too bassy to my ears. (I have a test track for that: "The Package" d'A Perfect Circle. With the grey tube, the bass line is overwhelming.)
I wish there were an intermediate bass tube between the clear and the grey ones...

Yes, red, grey, gold is next on my list.

Is anyone using the low ULF, LF, and UF tuning accessories?

I have tried the Low all the low ones just for fun. Let's just say, you need to try it for yourself.

I will but can't imagine I'll enjoy it, lol.

DarkZenith: I'll give that config a try!

BTW, I'm using my Dayton IMM-6 to take quick n dirty FR measurements with the different tuning configurations. I'll get around to posting them someday...

Tried a bunch of combinations this afternoon and keep coming back to Red Grey Gold and Red Grey Gunmetal.

Red > Grey > Gunmetal = Lyf = Luv = This is my swamp!

So I pinged Forrest the other day and asked him about the new flagship. It's still a ways off, guys. He said the basic design is coming along, sound is better than FLC 8S, but he's still working out how to simplify the tuning experience. I'm really looking forward to it. FLC 8S is one of those "hidden gems" you stumble upon every once in awhile that jump out and just impress the hell out of you.

Yea! Man if he can reach that little bit more in refinement.. It's currently already an amazing iem, I dunno how to describe if it gets better haha.. TBH  I was quite surprised that you guys hadn't heard that much about it. Still waters run deep indeed.

Lol. Let the rest of headfi catch up first before unleashing the new flagship. What they do with their tunable IEMs are special, not just MOAR BASS.

Yeah, hardly anybody has heard of them in the West. I'm hoping we can change that!

I've tried other tunable IEM that do more than add just more bass, but this is the first that allows so many tuning combinations. There are people who've chimed in recently who like several iterations on the Red + Clear/Grey + Gold/Gunmetal. So nice that everyone can tune it slightly different to suit their taste!

Cometely agree with you mate. I still don't understand why these are not more popular. FLC Tech needs to be up their in the Noble tier of the market.

Well, let's try to get them there DJScope! My tour kicks off next week. After that, I'll be FLC-less myself but will be spreading the FLC love to some very experienced IEM guys in the US.

My tour is already underway. The FLC8S will be going to the second tourist tomorrow.

How is that pairing?

Probably pretty much anything you want it to be.
