Is that HiFiman 901 with tralucent 1 plus 2?

ALL things considered, as a portable setup, my clip zip + hifiman re400 rules them all :D

Forgive me if this question has been asked/answered previously, but does anyone know of a vendor selling foam tips for the 334s? The silicone tips drive me mad, as they chafe my ears and rarely maintain a quality seal. I very much liked the foam tips that came with my Shure SE530s.

Thanks in advance for the reply/redirect.

Comply 400/500 series fit the TG334.

Thanks to both ariesq and burtomr for prompt replies. I had been to the Comply website but observed that they did not have a FitEar category. I appreciate the information re: compatibility of the T-4/500s.

with 400 you have to force (something i wouldn't recommend on the ie8/80). with the 500 on the 334 you can turn the foam and take it out pretty easily but not enough to ever get the foam stuck in your ear when removing the IEM.
isolation and seal are good on both so i go with the 500.

ie80 noozle and hd650 connector, good choices for sure.

Someone asked for pics of the BTG Starlight on someone's ear. Got my cable recently.  Feels very nice, much less microphonic and the hold of the memory wire is much better.  The Y split adjuster is quite tight on mine, which is good to some extent, but it is hard to adjust.  Anyway, the pics:

The way the btg wraps over the eyes do seem to be better than the stock cables.

Does that help you see the music......

As good as the TG334 are, they aren't the best match with the HiFiMan HM-901, given its inherent qualities and HM-901 sound signature.

Probably better synergy with the iRiver AK120 and AK100.

IMHO, definitely not with stock AK100 due to the player 22 OI.
I had to power my TG!334 with C5 when pair it with AK100 or steep drop in the bass.

Agreed.  I like my TG334 with AK120 more than HM901.
You can find my pair preference here.

Also agree AK100 isn't bringing the best out of TG334.  Not sure if it is just the 22ohm OI issue tho but it certainly didn't help.  To some extend AK100 with the TG334 only "win" on details extraction over my Note 2 but otherwise I prefer it straight out of the Note 2.

Looks good, but the IEM looks like it would benefit from being rotated slightly clockwise, so as to fit perfectly between the tragus and antitragus, rather than press upward on the tragus. To this effect, a cable with a slightly angled plug would work best here. Of course, everyone's ears are different. On my big ears, a straight cable might work best:
