It looks like your may have to update your A12 review many times over as they will be releasing many different modules that produce a different sound sig, future looks exciting! See the video on the official website.

Thanks. I'm considering one or the other based on overall performance of both but am a bit worried they will be too bassy for me.

 
Although the A12's lows have sufficient impact for a BA-based IEM, I wouldn't say they are bass-heavy at all. When the track/song calls for some low-end presence, the A12 will deliver in spades. If you have heard the K10, the A12's lows are quite synonymous in both quantity and texture.

I would agree that the A12 isn't bass heavy at all.
