I didn’t realize the Caiyin was so “affordable”. Looks great too.Unfortunately the UltraSonic offerings are above 2k EUR. But I think that a very good synergy can be obtained with Cayin HA-3A and that one should fit the budget.
Although I wouldn’t mind scrounging the classifieds to find an UltraSonic amp.
Now If I sell off my Broadway I should be good…. But I need to kee my Arya well fed too.
The HA-3A is pretty great indeed, even with stock tubes. But the real fun starts with tube rolling. Despite the specs the smallest Cayin has plenty of power actually, I think it would be fine with your Arya too. I actually prefer the HA-3A to all the SS amps I had lately; iFi iCan Pro, Bryston BHA-1, Soloist 3XP, GSX-Mini. Some of them edge the Cayin out with certain technicalities like speed, but overall for me it is a clear win on HA-3A's side. More spacious, more natural with better imaging and sweeter tones than any of these SS amps. I enjoy the 3A a lot more, feels like I have arrived home. I am sure it would work wonders with the D8000 if you prioritise musical enjoyment and a smooth, spacious presentation as opposed to chasing the very last bit of technicalities with an SS amp that has less 'soul 'by design.I didn’t realize the Caiyin was so “affordable”. I was able to audition this again in Addicted to Audio Melbourne and I am still amazed. I prefer the Non Pros to be added to my current set of HPs.
Wow, nice rack for the ifi“s!
May I ask where you bought this?
Sorry but I can only wish its mine. I got this shot from an audio shop in Melbourne, Australia - Addicted to Audio. The other parts of the shop houses equally awesome home setups.Wow, nice rack for the ifi“s!

Picked up a pair of D8000 (regular edition) headphones in Kyoto this past week. It seems like as long as stores have the old packaging pre-price increase, the old prices are the same. I'd definitely advise anyone visiting to hunt around.
UltraSonic amps are rarely on Classifieds because... nobody is selling them.Although I wouldn’t mind scrounging the classifieds to find an UltraSonic amp.

It says "Topping" On it, so I can't imagine it's that hard to find. It's also probably high treasonThanks! Now I know who to ask about that fancy stand!

Does anyone has experience with D8000pro LE and Elite?
I wonder if the LE has more space and wider soundstage which is what I read lacking from the other 2 D8000 vs Elite. And wonder if the D8000s are good with rock blues jazz as Elite are.
Amp Ferrum combo.
Thanks a lot.

Happened to methe Final planars are the headphone equivalent of "gateway drugs," that often get people started on their climb up the chain of TOTL planars.
Me too and decided to compliment D8kp rather then getting LE.I was very very tempted by LE but then I know myself and D8KP is already masterpiece... Endgame for sure regular D8K, Pro, LE....
So after reading through many different HP threads, I'm looking at Kennerton to add to the Finals. Which Kennerton(s) did you own? Is there one with "equal" bass quality but more energetic, lively. (for that part of my collection...)For example, I love (love) Kennerton’s drivers but
Referring to above stated intention of mine, I didn't come to the conclusion that SolP would offer that, am I correct, in your opinion? Also outstanding bass but darker/warmer then D8kp, right?I do have some untouchable headphones that I refuse to part with. The Solitaire P's, D8K Pro's,
I’ve owned a Wodan, Vali Neoteric, and a Rögnir Planar. I still own the Gjallarhorn GH 50 JM Edition. Bass quantity goes to the GH50 as that is a very bassy headphone but also very dark. I’d say the Rögnir Planar (bass tuned) has great bass quality and a more energetic presentation. So after reading through many different HP threads, I'm looking at Kennerton to add to the Finals.
