Take note that the Samsung T5 side is USB-C (not micro-USB). I'm searching about six month for a short OTG cable micro-USB to USB-C (that the micro-USB side is the host) but at today that cable not exist.

I have X7ii and a Samsung T5 as well.

If you're still looking for a solution, I had a short right angle micro USB to micro USB cable, and bought a tiny micro USB to USB C adapter to connect with the T5. This is the one I have http://www.ugreen.com.cn/product-958-en.html

Amazon Uk don't have them at the moment but this one looks identical.

@FiiO I actually emailed you a few days ago about the bug, but I did not get any answers....

I did what you told me (clear the data of FiiO Music app) and the problem still persists in all folders.
Dear friend,

We will PM you for more information.

Best regards

Now i have the problem back again. The playlist appears on screen for half a second and disappears. However if I hit the little triangular back button at the bottom of the screen, the playlist reappears and stays there so i can choose what I want.

Needs fixing but at least there's a workaround for now.
Dear friend,

After pressing the back button, the issue disappear? Only happen the first time for a new playlist? We failed to reproduce now. But will report to the engineer about that and test more. Thanks for your kind feedback.

Best regards

Here's mine - I keep the SSD stuck to the back of the case with blu-tack. It works perfectly, and the cable plus adapter cost about £7 in total.
A link for that little cable?

No it happens every time I open any m3u8 playlist - I don't have any new ones. They all used to work OK before the last FW update.

It's not the same supplier I bought from, but pretty sure it will be identical. Mine works in both directions, so it doesn't matter which end you plug into the SSD.
I am quite surprised that an SSD Hard drive works on OTG on the Fiio. The response time is good ? and the access ? Do you made a media Library on the fiio ? thansk

Dear @FiiO ,

I found a strange bug.
I will use X7 mkii.
I use a variable line out.
When using variable line output, the volume gain setting is apply to the line output level.

I recently purchased and use the AM0 module.
When I change the module of X7 mkii to AM0 and start the device, the high gain setting is not apply to the variable line output and it is fixed to the output level of the low gain setting.

When using the AM0 module, could you fix bug that the high gain setting is not apply to the variable line output level?

This bug does not occur in the AM3A module.
This bug occurs only when use the AM0 module.

Yes. My 2 TB. SSD drive works very well, response time and access is good. In less than 30 minutes build the media library from more than 20.000 songs in Hi-Res (FLAC 44,1-384 Khz and DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256).

Oh thanks for the info.
You must rebuild the media library at each connection ? For example, if you decide to not use the hard drive during few days and use only internal memory and sd cards.

And the battery draining ?? How about the autonomy??
