They have halted shipments because it has basically stopped their manufacture process (the hardware is ready but they are having issues applying the firmware). I was quoted one week for them to resolve it, so if you you are in a region pending shipment, it will likely be around the end of the month before they arrive.

I got one today and it already had fw 1.0.1 on it and is prompting me to update to 1.0.2.
Or are you already discussing this? As usual, I'm probably late to the party...

No this is about an internal issue they are having with getting the firmware onto the devices when they come from manufacturing.

I got mine earlier this week and have been using it with no problems. Very strange.

I haven't seen anything on Fiio's site either. Maybe they were prepping the update for release but got derailed by the firmware loading issue at the factory. All I get is a network error message when I try to download it.

When I received mine on Wednesday and tried to update to 1.0.1 I got a network error as well, however when changed from WiFi 5Ghz to 2.4Ghz the download/update went through...

It is an issue with loading the firmware onto the newly manufactured devices. It doesn't affect any existing ones.
