I'm getting a lot of popping noises with the X7 using UAPP with USB tweak 1 selected. Any suggestions?

 
That was back in FW2.0. UAPP becomes somewhat glitchy after beta firmware (3.0+).
 
Try also select 'Force 1 packet per transfer'

I can not get X5iii to start. Was having trouble with unit so put it in shutdown mode, which took about 5 minutes. Power button is lit blue but unit will not start up, no matter how long I push on power button. Nothing I found in a google search works.

Sorry, the DST files are not supported by the FiiO Music in the X7: http://fiio.net/en/story/266. We will try to have a look in the future.

Streaming Tidal is not very good with the latest beta.  Not sure if it's a wifi issue or buffering issue.  When playing tidal the music will stutter, stop or play extremely slow.  Pressing the back button usually fixes it but sometimes it takes a few times before it fixes it.  Which makes me think it's a buffering issue.  I had this problem on previous beta's but only once in a while.  Now it happens on just about every song.

Hi guys

I'm thinking of buying Sennheiser HD 600. I have doubt if the following combos can drive it:

- Fiio X7 + AM5 Module;
- Fiio E17k + Fiio K5;

I got this info, but I dont know how to interpret correctly:

* Fiio AM5 module: Output into 300 ohms: >55 mW (300Ω/1 kHz)
* Fiio K5 Max Output Power @ 300 ohm: >150 mW


The AM5 module provides 3 times less power than the K5. Would that be enough?

Yes the X7/AM5 combo can drive the HD600 just fine.

X7/AM5 works well with HD650 (300 ohms), too, if that's of any help.

What's the software you are using the DLNA with? You may use windows media player/ foobar to see if it helps? If you don't mind, please try another 3rd party APP for help as well. Sorry for bringing inconvenience to you.
