Will the Rm1 work once again with the new beta? I haven't been able to connect the FiiO remote in any of the betas so far.
Also the screen sleep issue... If I allow my screen to sleep play pauses and I have to manually switch the X7 on again for each track whilst driving.
If these issues haven't been resolved I don't want to update again as it takes time and these are the only niggles I have.

I would suggest doing a full reinstall, as i don't seem to have the screen sleep issue at all (i did have the RM1 not working issue)

Just do a factory reset. After that delete the database and rescan. That should solve it. At least it did for me...

We tested in Mojo and works well. What's the sampling rate of your DSD file? Are you using the coaxial output?

All my DSD files are DSD64, and coaxial out is the only way to connect X7 to Mojo.
I found the downsampling only happened with ISO files (downsampled to 176kHz), DSF files were sent to Mojo perfectly.

I had to 'forget' RM1 and then re add now it works as it should

We fail to reproduce the issue you mentioned. But we will report to our engineers about that and have a look at it. Can your X7 find the RM1 successfully, but they fail to collect each other? What about collecting your telephone with the RM1, can it work?

About the isse with ISO files, our engineers have got to know about that. We will try to fix this in later firmware if possible.

Streaming Tidal is not very good with the latest beta.  Not sure if it's a wifi issue or buffering issue.  When playing tidal the music will stutter, stop or play extremely slow.  Pressing the back button usually fixes it but sometimes it takes a few times before it fixes it.  Which makes me think it's a buffering issue.  I had this problem on previous beta's but only once in a while.  Now it happens on just about every song.

Thanks for the feedback everyone... I have tried factory reset a few times and followed the instructions further back on here for cleaning cache... All update files were deleted first. I can only get the X7 to play with screen always on and RM1 will not get picked up by the X7 at all. The Rm1 isn't picked up by my phone either... Which has also updated

Meze 99 Classics are a lovely combination with FiiO X7! They work well with AM03 and after hearing them together, I really should be saving up for a X7. Can't wait to hear X7ii though

Have you tried replacing the battery of RM1?

Light Comes on so it has some power.... Looked for a spare as was going to try this but none at home at the minute. Thank you for the suggestion I will get a spare battery and try swapping it over.

Are DST files supported by the X7? If not, is that something that could be enabled in a future firmware?

As I reported earlier, UAPP currently will work on X7 over USB OTG for external USB DAC, as long as you have 'USB tweak 1' option selected.

 
I'm getting a lot of popping noises with the X7 using UAPP with USB tweak 1 selected. Any suggestions?
