I can't get coaxial to work right out of the x5-3 into my xduoo xd-05. The xduoo says coaxial but I get no sound unless I pull the cable out of the x5 a bit, then I get sound. If I push it in all the way I get no sound. Could It be my cable? It works fine everywhere else.

I remember Fiio X5 2nd gen needs a 4-pole 3.5mm jack for coaxial signal. It's probably the same on x5-3. If you uses a 3-pole cable like DX80 or XD-05, you get no sound unless pull a little bit to the right position.

Hey Folks,

quite sure it's been posted somewhere before, but could anyone let me know of an app to download podcasts and compatible with Neutron and/or FiiO Pure Music?

I've been trying to download TTpod from FiiO's store but hungs itself... And Beyondpod (another app from Google's market) is not compatible with these players.

Thx you so much in advance.

Use the one delivered with FIIO X5-III ... this one works ...

Anyone get iTunes playlists onto x5 gen3?

You will get a greater response if you post in a thread not made solely for organizing a review tour.

Thanks, but I used dapper to sync my iTunes library. I've been using dapper for years to successfully get my iTunes music and playlists onto my daps. This time I was able to get my music onto the x5 but my playlists aren't s there. Fiio is supported very well with dapper as there are presets for both earlier versions of x5, 2 for x7, x3, X1 etc. I used the preset for x7 version 3.0 since that was the latest but that didn't do it. I'll play around with it. Dapper has never let me down in the past and I'm sure the x5 gen 3 will have a preset very soon.

@PinkPowers

Did you try stacking the X5-3 with the A5 amp?  I'm wondering if that would give the dynamics need to make this a good pairing with the HD6xx?

I'm thinking of pairing this with the HD600's...

A secondary amp like the A5 would very likely help in this area, but I did try.
