You may want to hold off doing that for a bit. I had the problem as well but it ceased after abut a day or so of heavy use. That was a week ago. All is good now.

It's funny, I've been playing it for a few hours now and haven't had the problem. I think I will hold off, thanks! Good to know it stopped, but makes me wonder what caused it. Strange. Hopefully it passes for me as well.

For the last several days, mine has been working like a champ. No errant pauses at all and gapless working as it should. I alternate between the stock player and Hiby, just to keep things fresh!
I am still getting a pause on the first song played, then after I unpause it, the rest of the album plays fine, weird.

If you're experiencing random reboots, it is likely that your CPU is more sensitive to higher clock speeds and DRAM settings. Install this version of the kernel instead:

https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397892438

It has all the benefits of the new kernel with lower timings.

Hello, I've followed your guide to install Kernel + script 2.8 version on Fidelizer purist 1.2.2 and experienced random reboots. i'd like to try the version of the kernel with lower timings but the link is dead, can you please reupload ? Thank you for your help.

You've probably done two things here:
(i) not cleared enough space in /system to install my kernel
(ii) used the 2.8 beta version of the kernel - this is the correct link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397926941

Incidentally @kaosnews - could you let me know what the free /system space in Fidelizer 1.2.4 is? (adb shell / df)

Thank you for the very fast answer. I'll try this version and let you know if it fixed the issue.

Edit : i tried the new version but same problems. But I forgot to erase pdf / flac from system/media. I'll try this and reinstall kernel.

Ok i've erased pdf / flac from system/media and reinstalled the kernel from your link. The install went fine with a confirmation message at launch ( Kernel optimization Done ) but i could not listen to an entire song without the player crashing. when it reboot there is an error message about android.process.media that stopped working. Any idea ?

Reboot into recovery mode, and manually wipe cache/dalvik. That normally does the trick.

If you still experience this issue, it may be the case that your hardware will need an even slower version than 1.4GHz. If so - PM me directly and we'll fix it.

This is Gonemad for the photo. It can rotate to all 4 sides. UAPP is just learning it, it knows only horizontal and vertical. And miserable. But he had already learned other tricks.
UAPP- Setting- User interface - Screen Orientation.
He's hiding the top bar so he doesn't make it so awkward

Tried Gonemad today, couldn't get it to see the SD cards. Not sure if it's operator error or program issue.

The Gonemad has a top-down icon with a floppy disk to save the settings. Setting /scanner/Folder /Edit path
