Indeed. I have a s23 ultra. Really expensive but was a gift. Some problems with usb port and i think samsung prefers to put in first place the connectivity with the earbuds of the same brand with proprietary codec

My friends tell me there are no problems with LDAC support on Samsung phones when using other audio devices. So I might be wrong to think it's Samsung's fault. I hope it will work in the future.

Hi @FiiO , just bought UTWS5 2025 and while on paper for each of the stem/leaf last for about 7-8 hours, on my usage with LDAC and aptX, it merely last for only an hour and straight after it prompt to me to recharge.
Is this faulty or is this something I should have expected?
More parameters:
Codec: aptX Adaptive HD and LDAC
Firmware ver: 0.58
EQ: user(1) with Gain changes to 3.0x
Lowpass Filter: Short delay slow roll-off filter

Same issue I had but lasted 4 hours per charge. You likely have a defective set.Hi @FiiO , just bought UTWS5 2025 and while on paper for each of the stem/leaf last for about 7-8 hours, on my usage with LDAC and aptX, it merely last for only an hour and straight after it prompt to me to recharge.

Could you please explain what additional gain gives you with UTWS5? Just volume?EQ: user(1) with Gain changes to 3.0x
Just volume basically, I'm so used to the loudness of BTR7... and I found UTWS5 to be lacking of the loudness I like (note that I know that it will lead to hearing impaired in the future.. but I like my music full when doing workout lol..)Could you please explain what additional gain gives you with UTWS5? Just volume?

Seeing the 'best phone ever' comments makes me laugh especially after watching probably hundreds of comparison videos over the years side by side. Not only that I've used mentioned model after switching to other producers and realizing the day and night difference. The 23 and 24 are basically the same phone with extra features and poor codec support.,
One example, Vivo has been destroying that 'best phone ever' over the years not only with the camera but also with codec support and with all the extra features. Just check x200 pro beautifully beating in every aspects even being selected as the best phone of the year before even going global

Samsung, despite using an flagship Snapdragon chip, never gives the full ability to the users to benefit additional codecs like Aptx Adaptive, Aptx Lossless meanwhile producers like Vivo, Sony giving that full ability. Also the connectivity is much much better than 'best phone ever'.
Also Fiio was mentioning that the phones which support Snapdragon Sound has better connectivity of which Samsung don't have

Here's a side by side comparison of the supported codecs from the brands with the same SoC:

Enjoy the proprietary codec pushed by Samsung on you which brings no significant improvement over Aptx Adaptive. I don't even mentioned LHDC, LDAC, and Aptx Lossless.
Some might disagree with saying Vivo only available in China. Well, I can import and use it flawlessly. Otherwise, there other still brands and models doing much better job than 'best phone ever'. Funny...
Also I see suggestions like using Bluetooth Codec changer app. Why do you need an app for doing that in fact you can activate Developer Mode on your phone and altering whatever available under networking?

I love having the freedom and extra options given to the users, not the limitations...
A lot to be learnt. Way a lot...

aptX and LDAC are more than enough for me, if LDAC worked fine.Samsung, despite using an flagship Snapdragon chip, never gives the full ability to the users to benefit additional codecs like Aptx Adaptive, Aptx Lossless meanwhile producers like Vivo, Sony giving that full ability.
