What about deezer I can't get it on the m6
I've tried to put the apk from fiio on the sd card but can't open the sd card and I've tried putting on the fiio internal and can't find it.

Help me Fiio, you're my only hope!

Try putting it in the download file on the Fiio itself and access it through the file manager on the m6.

It will not let me into, file management, tells me that ( file management has stopped)
And will not open!

Heeeeeelllllllllpppp
Dear friend,
There may be some abnormal files in the first level directory that cause the file manager to crash, maybe you can try to put the files in the first level directory into a folder to see if it works.

I tried connect the m6 to my fiio q5 with the fiio connector usb C to micro usb and changing m6 to usb out, I haven't been able to get that to work just yet but I sure it's ME.

If you have any tips that would be cool?

This is an extremely potent wireless setup, m6 works great with ES100 and it was easy to upgrade and set up ( ES100 ). Sounds excellent with LDAC. Oh and the balanced sounds Godly- I cant believe this isn’t wired.

Great combo!

do you find that sometimes the ES100 cuts cu out alot, then just stops and works great?

its funny.

Ive already done this.

the problem is, in the m6 when I goto the File manager and try to open the SD Card it keeps giving the a message that reads "File Management has stop, open app again". so I push open app again and it repeats the same Message. do I have to turn something off or does this even matter?

Thanks for you Help.
I would suggest you do the Factory Data Reset on the player and format (or remove) your SD card as well, then try again.

You can try to put the files in the first level directory into a folder to see if it works. And we will add the function that allow you transfer the apk via wifi song transfer.

Cool I was expecting Phone+Connect to work (but you did test it, great), planning on using it with my old (classic!) Marantz amps. What *I hadn't realized* is that you can use the USB output (I was planning to use the normal line out). Did you notice any difference? I like that cable though (heck, new combination for me!), as an adapters-junkie i'll sure go for it :D

By the way did you compare the output to using the normal line out? Any difference?

Hi greenflash
So as you suggested I used the line out on the M6 using a 3.5mm to 2 RCA to my amp and then linked Spotify on the M6 with Spotify on my Samsung phone. Bingo! I think it sounds better than the USB connection. Louder anyway. What is for sure is it sounds great and it's a good way of playing the M6 wired to a good HiFi system. Also did the same thing, also using the Fiio M6, but connecting using FiiO link, which is in the FiiO app settings. It's a bit fiddly because the Phone and the M6 are connecting through SBC Bluetooth and doesn't always connect up so simply. So this also uses the phone as a remote, but over Bluetooth and the output from the M6 to the Amp is wired so it sounds great and is lossless too. Also being an SBC connection it really needs to be line of sight connection. Why the FiiO link connection is important is that will mean as well as Spotify connecting through Spotify Connect and stream to a HiFi amp so you can play all your local music files on the M6 through FiiO link and stream to a HiFi amp. It means every thing on the M6 can be played wired through the M6 to HiFi, but remotely controlled from a mobile phone or even the M9 or another DAP with FiiO link. I think even the M7 could do the FiiO link side of this and play to a HiFi amp, but not the WiFi Spotify side. All this pertains to the M9 too. There are still a few other ways of using the M6, wired and wirelessly, to HiFi. I still use HiFi as well as IEM's so this is important to me.

So some may ask, why choose the M6 over other DAPs? Obviously price. Just about the best pound for pound puncher of a DAP for the money. But also APTX HD. So much better than APTX. Seeing as there are so few LDAC receivers it is really the domain of the FiiO M6\M9 to carry the APTX -HD flag. For the money the M6 is a stunning little music box of tricks (M9 too) Brilliant DAP.
