Thx for the info. I solved the problem. So previously my M6 could not be charged. I already tried other chargers, using USB port on PC, etc. It wouldn't charge. When I tried to turn on the device by pressing the power button, it wouldn't turn on. (Indicator light turned to red for few seconds then no light again). So I thought I was stuck with an M6 which could not be charged or turned on.

Then I tried to play around with the buttons. I tried to press the power button + the top button on the left side. The combination somehow forced start the M6 again and after that I can charge M6. Maybe it's a bug or something with the software? Not sure, but anyway after that I can charge the M6 and now when I don't use my M6, I just switch it off to prevent battery drain. Last time my M6 went out of juice/battery since I forgot to charge it for a long time.
Dear friend,

Thanks for the kind feedback.

Best regards

Hopefully someone can help me out with this:

since I installed Spotify on the M6 I noticed that it will keep draining the battery while the device is not in use. Probably this is because the Spotify-Connect feature which sees the M6 as possible target for streaming Spotify to when using Spotify on other devices.
Personally I like this feature, and I'm using this, but I'm also using Spotify on other devices througout the day.

I noticed there are sleep settings in the M6's settings menu, so I'd like to set these up so the M6 goes to sleep when I'm not using for listening to music so the battery does not drain.

However there are 2 separate settings for setting up the sleep period, with different options.

Which option does what, and do I need to use both, or only of of these options?
Dear friend,

Power-off timer includes two categories, namely “Sleep” and “Idle power off”: Sleep: once the pre-set power-off time is expired, M6 will power off automatically, no matter whether it is playing or not.

Best regards

so; basically what you are saying is that both options are not providing an adequate sleep function?

The fixed sleep seems to work, but you have to manually set that each time.

Then there's the inactivity one. I would want to set it at say 20min, so it turns off if I forget it. The problem is with bluetooth and pressing pause function after some time will instantly turn off the m6.

I usually hike with the m6 for 2-3 hours, and every single time the m6 has at one point just shut off when pausing the music. So thats not working.

I've slept since the last time I updated and now I'm unsure which version of Neutron is the best choice for Fiio M6. I think it was Arm7+Neon and the one with the USB pack, but was looking for confirmation. Searching here and the Neutron forum, I can't find good advice. Thanks in advance.

Anybody know how I can get poweramp on the m6 to push 24bit/96k to my Q5S, the most it will do is 16bit/48k and it's not a problem with the Amp, it also did the same thing with my thx portable. The fiio app pushes it correctly but uses 10x the battery that poweramp does. Like seriously in the same amount of time and volume level the fiio app will use 10‰ battery while poweramp will only use 1‰ wth is happening? Lol

Also worth noting I do have hi rez output on in poweramp and it still won't push 24/96 even though it should be capable.

Can someone please direct me to a download link for NetEase Music which Fiio recommends. The latest version 6.4.4 is unusable on the M6.. I cant find the download link provided by Fiio. Thanks

Hi Sir, did you get this to work?
Can you send a link where you got the cable M6<->Mojo
Thanks,
It works with a normal short microusb->usb-c cable. I got mine from ebay I think. There is some glitching though (pops) when the app is used, ok if the screen's off. It's not ideal as a transport in my experience.

Hi Sir,
Someone wants to swap my NW-a55 to his M6 and I'm liking the idea because I want to get the streaming feature while connected to my mojo.
Please clarify some items for me:
1.) Can you save Spotify tracks for offline listening?
2.) Does Mojo changes color based on the tracks sample rate?
3.) That glitch you mensioned, how often does it occor? does it always appear every song?

Thank you so much!

Yes i believe you can save spotify for offline streaming (you can with tidal, so i imagine you can with Spotify)
Yes Mojo changes color with sample rate (using the Fiio app)
Glitch occurs occasionally and without rhyme or reason, maybe once every 30 seconds or so, when the screen is on, much more rarely with screen off and you are just listening to music without fiddling with the player, maybe every few minute. It's like a slight pop. Similar to the rf interference when you get too close to a cellphone with mojo. Maybe that's what it is; i've not more than a metre away from a cellphone as i listen now. It could be rf interference with the M6 itself.
