1. LHDC to the M17: We have recorded and reported to the engineer for assessing.
2. Currently, the UTWS5 does not support LDAC. But as the application party, we are working hard with our partners for stable and efficient audio transmission.
You would need to switch the theme-now playing page to default first. Then tap the album art in the now playing page and you will read the VU meter.(DSD file not supports)
What was great was the implementation of a real vu meter like the McIntosh amplifiers that says what is the power output in real time, come on Fiio make this real
Yes. Agreed. The meters on my McIntosh MHA-100 are nothing less than mesmerising -- stunningly fast and accurate -- that are hard to look away from. Damn I love that amp!
edit: point being, contrast that to our M17 VU meter, which just wiggles around -20dB most of the time. It's kind of ... just ... Meh. The M17 does a hell of a lot of things at an exceptionally high level. I wish the software visualizations matched the extremely high bar set by the hardware.

@FiiO Thank you for answering.
This needs to happen in your next firmware update.
You can’t have 2 top of the line items that, and although they support HD codecs, they do so with incompatible ones, and can only talk to each other with Lo-FI standard aptX codec.
They should have been HD codec compatible right out of the box!.
Does anyone still have the popping or clicking noise issue during playback? I want to pull the trigger on one but this issue might potentially ruin my experience of the M17…

In my experience:
Not in general.
Some noises when:
Tidal with all DSD enable. Minor
Sacd ISOS from local memory. In some cases there are some noises,d epending on the file
The popping noise only happens when you first press play (AMPS and DACS come on line) and again if the unit is idling for 24 seconds (AMPS/DACS off line) it does not affect normal play and in fact, the M17 has one of the darkest background I’ve ever heard, the noise is inexistente, she is pretty much silent!

To be honest, I never observed it.
I mostly stream Qobuz and I get some random pops when selecting track with different sampling rate but this is probably Qobuz related because it also happens with other devices.
