Decided to close out 2021 with MEST Indigo and DCA Stealth which gave me an excuse to order the M17, LOL
Have any experience with the LCD 2 Classic on the M 17?

I have too many cans for my own good, and the 17 is very good with nearly all of them. My 800s sounds sounds great when on DC power.
Ever tried a LCD 2 Classic on it?

Do they really feel as heavy as some say?

For me personally yes, still somewhat a tad more acceptable than LCD-XC that are even more heavy ones.

Just enjoying some music, some morning sun, some light reading… Such a lovely package, this M17, good pairing with Meze Liric.

Does the M17 tame the brightness in those cans so many reviewers complain about?

FiiO 2022 new product schedule

...

The M11 Plus ESS and M17 will be produced and sold normally this year, and there are no plans for new colors and new materials (like copper, stainless steel). You can buy it if you like it.
After the M11S and M15S are released, FiiO's portable players will cover the price range of 450~2000 USD. We will not consider research and development of lower-end products. The main reason is that the Android players in the lower price range cannot meet user needs. In terms of sound quality, their performance and output power are also indistinguishable from USB audio adapters and Bluetooth DAC/Amps. In the current era of streaming media, the market for pure music players has shrunk even more.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a review so superbly conveyed. Congrats! I’d love to hear your impressions of the Meze Liric on it.
Thank you very much.
As I can see you already own the M17 so you know first hand how transparent and powerful it is.
The Liric is a great match with it, excellent sound and superb driver control, very technically proficient yet quite musical.

Maybe I just misread here, but I thought the FiiO music app had Tidal integration, because I can't seem to find it!

If not, then @FiiO can you please do that? That would make it so much better for Pure Android mode use case for me!

When I try to play music from Tidal app or UAPP app via usb cable to my desktop DAC/AMP, M17 starts lagging and freezing a lot and refuse to play any track, even volume wheel does not respond correctly with lag 🤔 but when I connect m17 via coax cable everything working normal 🤔 what is the case here?

Look at my last posts about the usb output into a Dac Amp 😉
