Question for FiiO...

Is it ok to use the M11 Pro while it is charging?

I've been doing wifi transfers of my CD collection into the player while listening to Qobuz at the same time, I'm getting a good amount of time out of the battery as it stands now but would like the option of keeping it topped off... That way, when I'm done I can take it with me with a full charge.

Dear friend,

Yes, you could charge the M11PRO while using. But the temperature may be a bit higher.

Best regards

So not sure on an upgrade from my X7 mk ii to the m11pro. I would use the Bluetooth features as I have apt x HD headphones. Just not sure on the sound front. I really like the sound on the x7, use it with HD 800s’s and FiiO f9 pros primarily. My hearing is not great, I really value sparkle in the mids for my old ears I’m happy with a slightly more forward sound. I used the oppo pm 3’s for a while but found them to dull, no sparkles at all.

can anyone help with comparisons? Anyone come from the x7 ii? Would appreciate the feedback!!

I picked up a new Fiio M11Pro today and so far my view on sound quality is rather dissapointing. At this point of time, it seems Fiio have screwed up for me, again. (Just like Campfire Audio). Comparing it to my Ibasso DX160, using identical tracks from the same source, the M11 Pro still sounds "thin" to me and lacking punch and body, just as with the M11. The DX160 sounds alive and energetic, the Fiio M11 Pro sounds more relaxed and somewhat boring in comparison. I like the style of the M11 Pro, and it seems better built than the DX160 but so far the sound has not impressed. Has anyone noticed improvement over run-in hours?

Burn in improves the staging for me

Better go 3rd party app like poweramp with eq, it might fix the note weight for you

Hello,
Any news regarding MQA support in 3rd party apps? Especially the TIDAL? :)

Also small question - while in DAC USB mode - will MQA be fully x8 unfolded as well? (still waiting for mine so can't test yet)

Thanks!

I'm also a dieheart TIDAL user over the downloaded music (mainly on convenience), of course music sounds freaking amazing with the 2.5mm/4.4mm already. But i also want to do if there's MQA support on Tidal, meaning am i listening to full uncompression file when i'm listening to Tidal?

I'm in both the Campfire and M11Pro camp haha. The ultimate goal of Audiophilehood is to find the sound signature you want, and even if the M11Pro is comparably more technical, you may still not like it's sound signature. I'd suggest you to really demo any piece of equipment before you buy them. That's the way I use to choose all my audio gear. Albeit that I live in Hong Kong and that's the heaven's place for demoing all IEM's and personal audiophile gears haha.
