Hi everybody,

As the owner of the m11 Pro, I am trying to use it as a streamer in following way :
- music stored on NAS
- mi 11 Pro connected to same network as NAS
- mi 11 Pro with UAPP or Neutron installed and used as media renderers
- mi 11 pro controlled by Emby from computer.

The problem is, after 2/3 tracks it stops playing.

Any idea what the problem can be ?

Can the FiiO Music app help instead? And does the issue happen in certain music? If you are convenient, you could try another server or Wifi to check again.

The battery should be something available on Aliexpress too, it would be good to know the code for it and usually batteries for DAPs are readily available

For several reasons, I recently performed a factory reset on mmy Fiio M11 Pro (the Dual AK4497 version).
After the upgrade, I did try to reconnect to the Google Play Store to install the required apps.
I enter my login and passaword and then I am in...

But each time I try to do anything on the Play Store, it quits with a message "The app keeps crashing".

Hope there is no incomptaibility between the Google Play Store and the older Android version that is in this device

That is the risk of such devices. They are rentals and will become bricks in a matter of years. Hopefully the ability to play local files remains as the device ages out of functionality. Good luck with things.

I found a workaround for the problem.

The factory reset installs the Fiio App Store. I opened that and from the Fiio App Store installed APKPure app.
Once installed, I updated the PlayStore from within APKPure.
Now works like a charm

Yes, those DAP's may get outdated.
But probably n,ot with the Google Play Store which I think is backwards compatible with android 3 or 4...

So we probably still have a couple of years before our DAP is good for trash... or only local playback.

Nice to know. That is great backwards compatibility for sure. Good business sense.

Yes. And if you could find a suitable balanced cable, you could try the balanced output of M11Pro for connecting the headphone.
