Its 699 Euro in europe. For this price? No way!
It is a remarkable DAP. Seriously nice value if you look at competitors like AK and even other Chi-fi’s :)

Just a head’s up. After three days of owning he Fiio M11 pro. I realized there were two chips on the top two corners of the player. The company should really have included a case, most other companies don’t include one but Fiio should have added the tradition to the Fiio m11 pro.

This thing is a BEAST!

It's beautiful, pictures do NOT do it justice...

The soundstage on this thing is sick...
Bass is slamming...good rumble, etc, hits hard, visceral. Great air throughout... Layered bass, textured.....really nice, cant wait till the PW

Limited gets here and everything is burned in!

Soundstage is DEEP and wide and holographic. The THX amp just takes command of the CL2 and makes it do tricks...

Can you compare with other DAPs about sound quality?

I demo’d the M11 Pro today:

Much improvement over the M11 which sounded a bit dull. The M11 Pro has a very, very nicely extended and clear upper treble which I really like. The sub-bass sounds a tad tastefully boosted and the mid-bass as well without zero bleed anywhere. Vocals have nice depth to them. Very dark background and everything is nicely separated in their own space. High amounts of dynamics and energy. I demo’d using my Andromedas and there is slight hiss without music on but unnoticeable when music is playing.

Some cons: a tad heavy, screen size (does it need to be this big?), ergonomics (can’t hold in one hand and use).

However for the price, amazing! I’m thinking of picking one up.
Thats exactly how I hear the Pro!

What is the best alternate music player rather than the Fiio player that people like? Is there a favorite?..

What is the best alternate music player rather than the Fiio player? I saw it mentioned and now I cannot find it...

sounds like Neutron music player is the way to go on m11, its my player of choice for all my Android devices. One of the best digital EQ's around and adjustable cross-feed. plus i really like how these frequently adjusted dsp settings have their own screen 1 swipe from now playing. once your use to all the options it gives you there's no going back

I hope not. i asked about using neutron pretty early in this thread and the general response was of course you can. Seams like we must buy the pay-pro non-google version of neutron and manually install it. I think like 2 people in this thread with m11 pro are using neutron and i found this in an m11 thread, post 1176 and 1178.

edit: did a bit more searching and found this thread on the neutron forums, seams authentication can be a major pain. can someone who's done it please comment

I'll have to wait till Monday to try my self though. I had pre-ordered through audio-46 but as of 5 days ago they still had no idea when they were getting their stock in. I called them on the phone Monday and they were as polite and helpful as could be, cancelled my ordered and i had a pay-pal refund hours later. repurchased from Camera box for 650$, -20$ coupon code. Probably much faster delivery and 70$ cheaper. very happy that all worked out.

Has anyone tried using m11pro as a digital source for a desktop dac or USB bridge? (like Signxer su-1). I'm really hoping to play offline tidal content on all my gear now. I should be able to use spidf but that's pretty bandwidth limiting vs USB.
