The Stainless Steel M11 Plus Ltd looks fabulous and is built (and weighs) like a brick. The headphones, Verum Audio Verum 1 Planar Magnetic Open Back, sound awesome played through the M11 Plus Ltd. Looking forward to spending some time with this combo. Then..... plug in my Mest MK2's. Can't wait to see what this Fiio offers.

Yup definitely the 3.5mm sounds a little gentler with slightly relaxed highs (neutral) where the 4.4mm is brighter and more vivid - testing on my Sony IERM7 which are revealing especially in treble. The 4.4mm is just too much for them.

Does anyone know any good female 4.4mm to male 3.5mm adapters? I can't seem to find any in Canada. FiiO has the LL-4.4mm-3.5mm but that can't be found on their Aliexpress page at all. I want something that won't degrade the quality at all.
An adapter will always degrade the quality slightly, some more so than others.

Well I need something that's good. Swapping IEM cables 3-4 times a day will destroy my IEM fast.

Can you explain to me what the use case of this item would be? I’d like to know as I’m not a fan of swapping cables. If I guess right you own something with a 4.4mm male. And you want to plug that into the unbalanced 3.5 input? Does that even work? Can you plug that in and listen unbalanced?
just curious, this is new to me. As of yet I own nothing that’s balanced.

You guessed right. The adapter ties the right and left grounds together, allowing a balanced cable to be used on a normal 3.5mm single-ended plug.
