Yeah I'll think about it. I'm in no rush. Do you know where to get replacement foam tips? I assume just comply? Can't find any others and silicone is a no go for me.

I think these are special Sony foam tips, i.e. not really foam but other material which should last a long time.. but lets see

For that money I would return it. New better and more shiny daps will come along.

Sounds like maybe you got a bad one. It happens, even with the strictest quality control. For what it’s worth, I have a black one and a stainless steel one and they both look pretty perfect to my eyes, but I guess it’s luck of the draw. You’d be justified in returning it.

I also have a white spot, but it's on a different location. It's not a massive one but it's annoying. My M11 Pro has another issue with its screen like an oval shaped imprint on it. Seems Fiio can't get it's screen QC under control, or perhaps using cheaper panels

Is it possible it's the screen protector and not the screen? Just spit-balling.
