Where did you buy it? Seems you got it super fast! How's it do with heat? The included case seems to get quite hot.

I had to cut out the panel from this Fiio HB4 case to fit the player. I added a little block of foam so I can keep the iems plugged in. My idea is that countless times of plugging in and out will wear out the plug and socket. Might be completely wrong. The m11 plus is a big boy. Too big to fit the HB4 case.

personally I think it would be great to see Fiio design a flat headphone like box that fits the m11. With cutouts to keep it plugged. Some routing to coil the wire. The whole thing like a zippered Eva type case.

I tread to make one form an old case and a block of foam but failed miserably.

Here’s a closeup of the foam block. This way the plug can’t smash into the wall of the box. It’s floating free.

Is it possible it's the screen protector and not the screen? Just spit-balling.
Unlikely - typically its when something behind the screen like dust get trapped during manufacturing and puts pressure on a spot

Is anyone finding the 3.5mm jack a bit warmer more relaxed sounding compared to the 4.4mm? Tested with few different iems, it’s not as forward sounding and as hard hitting so it suits me better- I think anyway...

Maybe. I've never ever personally heard that myself though. Doesn't mean it's not a thing though. I find extra power just increases the noise floor and makes it sound worse.
I agree it sounds worse if the headphones impedance is too low for the output. Worse but beefier (in my experience) I prefer less power for sensitive headphones, which is probably logical.

Yeah exactly. I use IEMs with my DAP only. If I used power hungry headphones maybe I'd feel different.

Funny enough I've been moving away from headphones over to IEMs even on my Desktop setup to be honest. Don't know why, just don't enjoy headphones as much now.
