No UAPP. Most of the masters I have is only 88/96 anyway. I looked through the tidal MQA list the other night and anything higher is far and few between. Classical is really the only genre I saw at higher bitrate and that's not something I listen to.

Beta fw has quite a few improvements (wifi being one of them), I'd recommend it regardless of mqa capability.

It never occurred to me to check the music I have, it seems what I listen to is also in the 88/96 range. Doh! I'll download the beta today and give it a whirl :)

I have a samsung charger that has 9V, 1.67A or 5V, 2A. Is it safe to use that charger to charge the M11?

Who's still happy with his M11? I am :)

Now I'm curious what configurations you guys are using. Someone found a nice good sounding stack for driving his cans?

So I was thinking we could start posting some nice setups.Who likes this idea?

So let me start: I'm mostly using it with my bgvp dmg's for on the go and at home with my Final audio Pandora Hope IV. All with balanced cables. The dmg's are more analytical and the Pandoras are more full and warm sounding. Both have a good soundstage and suit the brighter analytical sound characteristics of the M11.

Tengo un cargador Samsung que tiene 9V, 1.67A o 5V, 2A. ¿Es seguro usar ese cargador para cargar el M11?

If you want to use fast charging, it is the Samsung charger, or one with 9V output, which should be used. I use it from time to time, and it works.

I just realized that every time I change the song, it doesn't matter if it is flac to 16 bits, 24 bits, etc., always before starting the sound there is a "Plop", change of the song "Plop", I go back the song "Plop, .

Anyone else with this problem? I have the beta version that came up here

Regards
I have always gotten a very faint "pop/click" a couple of seconds before any song starts to play on my M11. FiiO Support wrote me that it has to do with the DAC switching:
"About the slight crackle that occurs occasionally during playback-
It is one of the HiFi audio players' core features to support different types of music formats and sampling rates. And each time when the DAC chip change the sampling rates, it will need to reset itself, which can cause a slight crackle in the sound. This problem cannot be totally prevented, unless converting all the songs to the same format and sampling rates before playing them (just like what the Apple iTunes will do). But doing this will make the HiFi player lose its biggest advantage."

...BUT it seems this does not happen to all units in the market (?) and all my music files are FLACS, vast majority 44.1 / 16.

@FiiO I keep running into this bug on my M11 where the UI is controlling itself without my intervening. It goes haywire and starts opening up apps, the OS settings, etc. I tried clearing the cache and that temporarily stops it but then after some time it starts back up again. Anyone else having this?

There's a new Beta Release:

http://fiio-file.fiio.net/M11-ota-20200722.zip

An obvious change: The MQA logo is shown on the top left besides the sample rate, when playing MQA songs with UAPP

I just downloaded the last beta, but will give this a go too. Seems not much benefit unless using UAPP, but also an indication that MQA implementation by Fiio is probably complete. Come on Tidal, please update the app :L3000:

Hey @FiiO, Is there any way to stop my bluetooth from auto connecting to the last device it was connected to? It is very inconvenient when moving from place to place or switching out head phones as the unit will not connect to the new device as its searching for the old one. This sometimes can take a while.
Thanks!
Dear user,

Do you mean when connecting to Bluetooth headphone? But the reconnecting function is designed in most Bluetooth headphone.

Best regards

Dear user,
Would you mind sending a small video to support@fiio.com for us to confirm your problem?

When connecting to headphones or my car or different speakers..etc. It is NOT the devices that are auto connecting. It is the M11. I will be connected with one set of phones and then turn them off completely. I will then turn on a speaker and try to connect but the M11 will try to connect to the phones that are not powered on. The M11 will not connect to the speaker until it has stopped trying to pair with the phones, which can sometimes take a while. When I am in the middle of a session and need to A/B things quickly, this can be a major annoyance. It would be great if it was the devices sending the auto connect. That is not the case here unfortunately.

Dear user,

Sorry I may fail to get your point clearly still. When using as Bluetooth transmitter, the M11 will try to connect the last connected devices when its Bluetooth is on.

Best regards

The M11 will try to connect to the last device I used, even though that device is shut off or not even in the building.Turning the M11 Bluetooth off and on makes no difference or even rebooting the M11. It will still try to connect to a speaker that is 10 miles away because thats what I used last.. I cannot connect to any other device until it stops trying to connect to the previous device.

It will not automatically connect to any device I have it paired with so before I cant start driving I have to sit there and wait for it to stop trying to connect to my last used device and then manually connect to my car for example. Also note that I only have ONE Bluetooth device on at any time so there is no cross talk with other devices which may confuse the M11.
