Dear user,

You could not downgrade the FiiO Music app. After installing the beta firmware, the FiiO Music app will be updated to 1.2.0 as well.

Best regards

I see on your website at https://fiio.com/newsinfo/412218.html, you've released a new version of The FiiO Music App (v1.2.0) for Android devices. But that update also says Don't update this version if you are using M11/M11PRO/M15.

I thought the M11 was an Android device?
Dear user,

If you would like to update the FiiO Music app, you could update the beta firmware instead. If you install the verison for other Android devices, you may lose some features when using the M11.

Best regards

Just want to make sure I understand one more thing...

In order to use the Fiio HiRes Driver in the M11, I have to use UAPP?

I've already paid and have been using UAPP with great results so it's not much of a problem, BUT, there are some apps like for example Plex that do not work with UAPP. So in that case, my only resort is the original android driver in the device which definitely sounds inferior.

Is that what everyone is seeing or am I missing something?

No, you don't need UAPP, the DAC will receive the stream what come out from the player app, DACs input will be HiRes if output is HiRes from the app, it depends on the apps which you are using.

Any help please ?
I think if you go Settings<Apps<FiiO Music<Storage and clear data and cache you should be able to open the app up.

Unfortunately, the newest beta firmware (from June) causes music to "stutter" during playback on my M11. Happens pretty consistently. I've rolled back to the last official FW (March 26) due to this problem.
FiiO Music app is version 1.1.9.... Wish they would release a new version soon!

That happened to me, and I solved it by factory resetting the M11. The installation may be corrupted.

Thanks. I'll try installing the beta FW from June and then following with a factory reset.
UPDATE:
Reinstalled the beta FW and did factory reset earlier today. First few tracks played fine and I thought "great". Then the skipping/stuttering started - even worse than before!
Guess I'll roll back to the last official FW again....

I just got my M11. The DAP looks and feels amazing, but I am not sold on the sq. Out of the box, it has too much highs. Everything sounds too sparkly and clean, but I would like to tame those highs. Will the burn in do that? will the end result be slightly warm?
