Can the connection work after enabling the HWA option in FiiO Music app?
The HWA in FiiO Music app is an old version HWA/LHDC.
So it is not same as the LHDC supported in our UTWS5 or some new mobile phones.

Hi there everyone! Hope you are all safe & sound.
I just got a used M11 and I am having a ball. Really happy with it's quality.

I have a question though. I am trying to have it connected to a Schiit Bifrost DAC via USB (or coaxial), but "sometimes" the volume works... sometimes it doesn't. The DAC feeds the preamp/headphone amplifier, Valhalla 2, which goes to either headphones or tube amp and speakers.

I know the "line out" is supposedly a signal without a volume control, but if I am feeding the DAC via USB from a MacMini, the volume works Ok.

I had the volume working when its connected to the M11 via USB, but it's not consistent. Any ideas?

Dear Airsulpture,

The lyric will return to the current playing progress if you slide the lyric while playing music. If you only want to read the lyric, you could pause the music first.

That’s a pretty bad UX experience

Perhaps take a look at Poweramp. You can manually scroll while music is playing and the lyrics stay still. It is pretty useless for the lyrics to scroll back to the top while you are reading them. This would be offset if the lyrics scrolled in time with the music but it does not. So the only way of reading them in time with the music is to manually scroll - this is made useless if, as it does, the app resets the lyrics to the top.

No, the lyric will scroll back to current playing progress after stop scrolling the lyric for some time.
And in your perference, you would need to return the lyric to current playing progress manually if the lyric stay after scrolling. We will report your feedback to the product manager for assessing.

The lyrics do NOT a scroll back to the current playing position with embedded lyrics, they scroll back to the beginning hence why I said the UI experience was just about useless. With embedded lyrics there is no scrolling of lyrics in time with the track.

In the FiiO player, does anyone else keep getting logged out of there account (whilst I’m not sure what the account is for, it’s rather annoying that when I return to the player, my user account is logged out).

1. Yes. In the Android version FiiO Music app, you could find the export or import playlist after clicking the ...icon in the right corner of the playlist page. So you could import or export the internal playlist there.The playlist file could be found from: internal storage-android-data-com.fio.music-files-playlist
2. You could try to find a similar battery and replace it by yourself. Or send it back to us for repair.
3. If you would like to read the storage of the M11, you would need to install the MTP driver instead of the USB DAC driver: https://forum.fiio.com/note/showNoteContent.do?id=202105191526104199898&tid=17
