Hi,can M11 recongize your SD card correctly now?If yes,just insert it in M11 and ingore the format notification(1.0.2 has blocked the notification of this selection),you don't need to format it to use.
If your SD card can't recognized correctly,may be you can format it by computer,and then insert in M11 to use.

Tidal wont recognize an SD card so I don't think the player will either.
I will try and format the card on my PC first and then try again.
Also it must see the card Initially as it tries to format but just fails

BTW, so far all the 4.4 socket is supplied by Japanese company which used in Sony's DAP.

btw, we just confirmed that M11 has not problem with SONY Z1R original 4.4 cable.

I’m excited as I got my M11 today. And had to install Tidal, Spotify, YouTube (special version) and Netflix. So far so good. And looking forward to trying Z1R’s with it. And many iems. Tested LDAC with Sony xm3’s as well. I wish I was more familiar with android stuff. Had install bitdefender on there. Hoping googleplay support will be available soon. Any idea when this will happen?

Anyone recommend any good apps or must have programs? Also wondering how to access files off an iPhoneX.

And I can’t find any large format as Sdxc cards. Samsung seems to be a good option? The Samsung Evo plus card?

That’s not what it said on the fiiostore AliExpress description. Said it was just not currently available, as if saying it’s being worked on.... bummer if not, since I bought it mainly so it would have this support. Just wondering when. Do you know for fact Fiio has no intention to offer this support? But their previous daps have it? Makes no sense if not.

Fiio have indicated the inability to add Google services is due to Google's restrictions on Android versions. Cannot upgrade Android on this machine to satisfy dependency requirements.

not sure what happened and we need to inspect the defective unit, but we had sold out thousands of M11 and amp module with 4.4 balanced socket and get not feedback about any design issues. most probable it is just an individual quality issues.

I do suspect it could be couple of QC issues, but is there a way Fiio can help customer in Europe for replacement unit instead of sending it back to China and ordering a new one? it could take few weeks before I can get back the unit and it will also cost me hefty shipping, Customs and VAT charges. I really like the sound and speed of the unit but I do want to use the 4.4mm balanced out with my Sony Z1R. Thanks.

Very sorry , since we have not ship any M11 to our agents in Euro or other counties so it is impossible to get a replacement from our agents in Euro, btw, can you confirm the cable is original from Sony . we have confirmed with quite some people that there will not have any problem to connect to Z1R .

Hi James, thanks for your response I am using the original Sony 4.4mm cable which came with Z1R and also tried another cable at my local Hifi shop but both did not work. Is there a possibility to get a return postage refund or discount I really like the M11 SQ with my IEM.

we need to check out what happened first cause the 4.4 socket are quite strong and should be quite stable, and it is quite strange that no one reported they have such issues in China.

thanks, our engineer will contact you directly to see what happened and it seems that M11 has not detect the 4.4 jack when it is inserted. this is quite strange and maybe a firmware bugs.
