Lots of older rock music I ripped a very long time ago when 320 was king. So 192 was a nice compromise. Hey they still sound good.:)
The thing with rock music having rubbish production (most of the time) probably helped anyway :)

New toys to play with this weekend! Initial impressions are very positive. I had buyers remorse on the M11 before it ever got here. I've been listening through my LG V35 and it sounds quite good, so I talked myself into sending the M11 back to save the money. Glad I decided to give it a shot, I'm really enjoying the form factor more than expected. This is my first-ever DAP, so didn't realize how convenient physical buttons are. LOVE the volume wheel! I have Campfire Atlas coming tomorrow, that's gonna be a lot of fun too. I bought the 4.4 all silver 'D' cable from Penon, it will be here in a couple of weeks and should round out my portable setup for the foreseeable future.

Oh yeah, the FH7 are pretty sweet too!

Here is a size comparison of the M11 with the Samsung S10+. It's obviously thicker and heavier, but it sits really great in the hand. I'm not going to have any issue carrying this in my pocket, I actually find it more comfortable to hold than my phone.

Hit my first snag...Qobuz won't play any of my downloaded Stevie Ray Vaughn hi-res purchases. It plays Beatles White album in the same quality, so I'm not sure what the issue is. Anyone seen this yet? (sorry for the blurry photo)

I want to upgrade my dap--especially in the area of wireless sound quality and volume output.I am interested in buying the M 11. After doing "research' I have narrowed down my choice to the Hiby R6 Pro or the M11.
I purchased a Hiby R6 in Jan 2019 for $ 459---passing up the Pro that went for $ 799.
I have recently went crazy with wireless headphones and regretted not getting the R6 Pro---as the volume output is much stronger.
I have Flare Pro2, Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless, Sony X3, Focal Listen, Audio Technica ATH-DSR7BT ---

also purchased mmcx and 2 pin bluetooth cables for my iem so am pretty much set up for wireless---

Just want a dap that has excellent sound quality and powerful volume----wired still has more power and sounds better to me.

Sooo......I wish I had just got the R6 Pro when I bought my last dap----but am intrigued by the M 11.
I can get the M11 for $ 450---or sell my R6 and spend another $ 300 to upgrade to the Pro.

I guess the real question is----is the sound quality and power of the M11 a better choice? Basically for $ 150 more I can get the M11 and still keep the Hiby R6--

Any input is welcome---basically is the sound quality and bluetooth volume outtput on the M11 the way to go---over the R6 Pro or any other model

sorry for the long drawn out post....lol...nice to have such "problems" to worry about.

Even ran the Utopia through the M11....not too bad, but certainly not getting the most out of them. I'll get Roon working on M11 soon and can then apply parametric eq and see if that helps.
