For me, my first introduction was a competition in December 2018. I remember it like it was yesterday...
Adtually, it was the first brand that introduced me to the idea of using a dedicated headphone amp/DAC. Before that I'd never even wondered beyond simply plugging the jack in the socket.

What I have is an overlooked and underrated item in FiiO's product line-up, the L16 short Interconnect Cable.
Aesthetics-wise, ergonomics-wise, build-wise and sound-wise it is well-nigh perfect. Value-wise it is right up there with the rest of its brand mates.
I've tried many interconnects before the FiiO L16—generic, boutique and DIY—but in terms of transparency the L16 is it.

My first ever FiiO product was FiiO E5 that I bought around 2010. It is a really small portable headphone amplifier. Soon after E5 I bought E7 USB DAC headphone amplifier. I found out about these through head-fi (Of course!!! 
). I'm not sure where my E5 is at the moment (so small that it is hiding) but I used E7 this year and it is still working like new. The thing I love about FiiO is that you can get nice quality products with decent price.
This year I bought the Q5. It is a FiiO Flagship Bluetooth and DSD-Capable DAC. Later I allso bought AM3B 4.4mm balanced/3.5mm single-ended amplifier module for it. This combo is not that cheap anymore, but the versatility, 4.4mm balanced output and the sound quality from this tiny piece of kit is just pure awesomeness. I have used Q5 daily for the past 6 months and can highly recommend it.

My very first Fiio device was a Q1 Mark II Dac and I really loved it, it provides me with high quality audio on the go, It was a recommendation from a friend!
The first DAC/AMP I bought was a FiiO E10K. It was better than my onboard laptop and used it for awhile before I upgraded my laptop and found the difference in sound negligible. I've been looking into the new FiiO DAPs. Would love to try the K3 with my desktop to power my SZ1000s.

Like many here, I found out about FiiO on HeadFi, and am eagerly awaiting to try out my first FiiO - the M3K!
i started off when fiio had been focusing solely on dac+amps, then followed through when they venture into dap, and lastly the hot IEMs
I got to know FiiO by buying the FiiO Q1 a couple years ago. It was a combo package with something else that I don't remember. I remember using it with my Sennheiser 6xx.
