I have not had the opportunity to use any FiiO. The K3 looks really nice.
I bought an A3 to use for my phone and use it regularly with my HD 599s (yes, I use my open headphones outside. I like the added situational awareness and the 599 actually doesn't leak out that much sound).
I bought the e10k to have something lowkey at my job, but still have a capable amp/dac. It's been a great 2 years so far!
Loved Fiio since the first X3 and have been impressed by their constant support and improvements they made over the years!
Thank you all for the kind sharing! Please help to spread the word and let more friends come and share the story with FiiO! We are all ears!
It is funny how I was thinking that FiiO should make a desktop equivalent from the Q1 Mk II, then learned that the K3 exist yesterday!
If I was lucky enough then I will put my E10K to retirement, and have a chance to try my FH5 with some balanced cable.
Hi, I was lloking for a DAP at the time, was reading a lot ont his forum and decided to get the FiiO X3ii when it just came out. need to upgrade soon lol
Still using E10k at office.
Lavoro nell'editing audio e spesso mi ritrovo a viaggiare.
Ho bisogno di un dac / amp portatile con un buon livello (qualità / prezzo) e con un suono dettagliato ... molti tecnici audio mi hanno consigliato Fiio.
Così; la mia esperienza con Fiio inizia oggi.
I first got to know the FiiO brand when I read the FiiO X3 (first generation) player review on the web.
I haven’t yet had the opportunity to own a FIIO product but hopefully, this will change soon!
I have the FiiO Kilimanjaro II headphone amp that I use with a pair of XBOX gaming headphones and they sound phenomenal plugged into my laptop.
It has a lithium ion battery that lasts long and the design is very cool.
I don't think it has DA converter but that would be cool to get direct conversion from the computer's Digital fiber out.
I was wondering if FiiO makes a portable vacuum tube amplifier that warms up the analog output coming from digital sources.
The Fiio brand always seem to pop up whenever searching for value driven gear. Started with the Q1, moved to the X3 ii, and now just got the amazing FH5. Definitely makes up some of my best purchases value wise.
First I bought Fiio X3 mark2 player and MSR7 headphones back in 2015.
At that time this budget for audio player / headphones seemed huge for me (around 400-500$ both). But I wanted to try something new... And really glad that I purchased this gear!
Upgrade in sound quality (from regular sound in motherboard of the computer) was huge!
My previous setup is still working perfectly. But I wanted an upgrade this year and bought Fiio X7 mark 2 player.
Added Fiio A5 amp to it. And Audeze LCD2c headphones. This new setup costs much more. But. Once again I have LARGE upgrade in music quality and like it very much!
