I can't try things out first without buying where I am either. Hence, deficit testing; essentially, buy to try. If I like them, great, if I don't, gotta either return or sell them off here on Head-Fi. Sounds to me like you're in the same position where you live as I am.

That's the only reason I've ended up writing so many reviews in the last 18 months - got to buy them to try them in my part of the UK, unfortunately!

But you put way more time into making a good review. I've written a couple, but I'm too lazy to write others haha. Like for the A83 for example; never got around to a review for it. And I've got a JH16 Pro and a Kumitate Labs Sanka right now; too lazy lol.

Don't think they do in the UK, but I think the rules might be different in other parts of the world?

Thought amazon and others didn't accept returns on iems, only headphones?

True for Amazon and all shops in most of Europe, for a reason that still escapes me.

You're free to put hair grease/gel/dirt on headphones and return them, but you can't dirty IEM tips and wash them before you return them.

Wonder what soap and disinfectant wipes are made for sometimes...

Surely they expect you to spend several hundreds of Euros/Pounds on IEMs without any prior testing.
It's like trying to sell a car without any trial.
No wonder they're only selling wagons of ****ty low-end IEMs in Europe in these conditions...

Hey, getting these. Does anyone know what model of Comply tips fit the A83?

300 - 400 - 500?

Yes, Spiral Dot will fit, quite good at extending the nozzle reach. There's one other tip I enjoyed on A83, great sound but low isolation.

They're all I use on my Tralucent IEMs.

Makes life easy.

BTW, A83 nozzle is the same size as a Sennheiser CX300 which is basically the industry standard size. I don't use comply myself so have no idea on their model numbers. You can email them though, tell them it's the same size as CX300. Or, if someone can measure thier A83 nozzle for you and post here you'll have the exact size to tell them.

Thinking of getting these and pairing them with my HTC 10 and Shozy Magic. How do the A83 compare to the Mee Audio Pinnacle P1 and Ibasso It03?

This might help.

A83 vs MEE P1

I matched the bass response so you could see mid-range and lower treble relativity

The Fidue has a more prominent upper mid-range (more vibrant) and more upper treble activity (brightness).  The MEE P1 is more balanced overall (still V shaped), and has a smoother overall tonality.
