@jmills did you get to audition the hole line up?, I'm interested in the differences between the kicker and forte. I auditioned the harmony and loved it
Yes I did. I brought two (Kicker and Harmon) of them home for two days testing and at the shop I spent 1.5 hrs with the Forte. If I had the money I would take two of them, uif I had more Ill take all three. KICKER has a great speaker like sound and.it is detailed but Treble is laid back and I say this positively. Harmony a bit more balanced with extended treble and has loads of bass and clear mids. Forte has the blend of both. Has a bit more treble but not as extended as the Harmony which keeps your focus on the mids and bass. Look I have been selling all my top iems (NT6P, SE 5WAY, H8P,846, K10, ASG2.0, Roxanne) after I demoed and bought the Harmony.

The 2.5 and the Harmony both sound great. You can't go apples to apples with the two though. The Harmony dynamic portion is 9.2mm and the 2.5 is 14.2. That's a lot more bass option if you want it. I have the 2.5 made in full blown molds. I'm real happy with them. I use the Harmony when I'm out driving - they sound great. I do see the sales of the 2.5 dropping off and the Forte & Harmony picking up.

In Hong Kong they were selling the 2.5 for 300 USD. The following day I ran back to three shops that were selling them and all 2.5s were sold. Shops said the 2.5 are discontinued.

That's a crazy price for the 2.5 I would have definitely got one. Thanks for the description jmills8 I liked the harmony so much that I bought one but Amazon shipped it to the wrong address and now the can't find it, so hopefully I can get that resolved, but I am thinking of getting something a little more bass heavy to compliment the harmony

I was upset I didnt get the 2.5. If you want a bit more Bass then 2.5 or Future Sonics custom MG6P. The MG6P bass hits harder but goes a lot more deeper.

Thanks I'll check the future sonics out or hopefully the price of the 2.5 will go down. You mentioned that you are selling your Roxane's, how do they compare to the aurisonics?
Sold it and its bass was close to the 846. BA Drivers are not as good as Dynamic Drivers.

mg6p was something I was seriously considering before getting the 2.5. Should be good.

Is there a dealer/distributor in the EU besides Thomann (Germany)?
Thomann only lists the ASG-2.5

I just was checking out Amazons Bravo series, and realised that they don't have an adjustable bass port anymore? hhmmmm, interesting!

True but the bass is there and it goes deep.

Hi,

I just got my 2.5's today and absolutely love them.  I'm letting them burn in for a few days.

Silly question but what is fully open position on the 2.5's?  Does the white mark point towards the dot or line to be fully open?
