Welcome to the #IE600Club my friend! What is your source setup?Just received my set about 1 hour ago. Still too early to make solid conclusions but I think the ie600 are truly fantastic.
Luckily the stock silicon's fit me fine up to now but will definitely try tip rolling in the future.
Very early first impressions are, the bass is nice and weighty with good texture. Mids are very clean and open, bass does not seem to bleed in to mids which is good. Treble is very present but has not fatigued me up to now.
Looking forward to spending a lot of time with these.

Been using chord mojo/poly for the majority of the day but also been using a hiby R3 dap for about 30 mins.Welcome to the #IE600Club my friend! What is your source setup?
Do yourself a favour and try them with the azla sednaearfit standard (black) ear tips.Wow, these things are seriously amazing. Going through an Ibiza classics playlist on Spotify and I have a big cheesy grin on my face.
Do they sound better than the stock tips? I don't have any issues with fit using the stock tips and I have heard quite a few people mention that stock tips sound the best.Do yourself a favour and try them with the azla sednaearfit standard (black) ear tips.
I have tried plenty of tips but these really compliment the ie600. I keep telling people about these tips & must be starting to sound like a broken record but hey they really are that good. Lol
Thanks for the sound quality impressions! Quick note: The cable is not proprietary. The spec is public, and can be utilized/applied without license by anyone.Few days back, I had a chance to audition IE600. Sources: A&K SP2000 and Shanling M7. I did bit of tip rolling and they fit best with Azla Sedna tips. Someone who gives these iems a good listen, they won't find IE900 much of a worth. IE900 is surely better in terms of resolution and soundstage but they are priced almost double that of IE600, so price to value prop is better for the younger sibling. The bass is good and tight on IE600, does not eat up the mids which are clean and prominent. Do not find a lot of things missing in the IE600. Buying IE600 is a better decision than to buy an IE900, IMO. The propriety cable sucks though![]()

The sound quality "by way of tip rolling" is certainly subjective. Indeed the stock tips are designed to be the "goldilocks" option out of the box, but we know the reality is that the Head-Fi customer is going to want to experiment on day 1, and will certainly use the forums to look for recommendations for tips to try if they do not already have a supply of them.Do they sound better than the stock tips?
