The IE600 has the same connector as the IE300 and IE900 which is slightly recessed. My Dunu DUW02 cable will not fit.

Ok thank you both! Guess I need to go searching this thread for some good, cheap cables. I was hoping for one that had interchangeable tips like Dunu but I suppose that is out

Cables meant for AKG IEMs like the N5005 will fit.

Yep... Sennheiser use the fidelity+ mmcx connection with a reassessed socked. In short, you need to buy a adaptor. Just look up eBay or Amazon for IE300 adaptor.

The fidelity+ mmcx is rated for 500 connections / pairings or 5000 360 degree rotations.

That's pretty standard.

The ressesed socked, is at first glans a pain, but it lowers the chance of braking/damaging the connection from horizontal pressure.

In short, if ye wanna cablerolle, ye need a adaptor.

I envy you guys that can hear sound differences in cables like that. I wouldn't mind having that ability.

I'm glad I don't have that ability because it would cost me more money continually buy more gear.

The microphonic character of the default cable is more than enough for me to change the cable. The sonic "improvements" is just another bonus for me.

What do you find is a more comfortable fit the straight or the angled connector while using the utws5 ?

I think the angled are a bit more comfortable. It does add an additional pivot point, which can be irritating at first when you are trying to get used to them. I leave them on the IEM with the thought that the burden/wear of switching is then placed on the adapter and not the IEM. Probably doesn't make much difference, who knows.

You will be fine with those I think. I don't notice hardly any difference, and those are what I have been using mostly too.

The ones I ordered are off aliexpress, the same seller you got your mini ones from but I bought the black ones that are 12.8mm long.
I am wondering if they will fit in the case being a little bit longer than your ones.
I will be attaching my ie300s to them instead of my IE600s as I use my IE600s on my ifi signature. Can you measure your mini straight connections when you get time please so I can workout weather they will fit the case
