Just received my set about 1 hour ago. Still too early to make solid conclusions but I think the ie600 are truly fantastic.

Luckily the stock silicon's fit me fine up to now but will definitely try tip rolling in the future.

Very early first impressions are, the bass is nice and weighty with good texture. Mids are very clean and open, bass does not seem to bleed in to mids which is good. Treble is very present but has not fatigued me up to now.

Looking forward to spending a lot of time with these.

Doing a lot of tip rolling and right now im on azla medium smalls with some foam inserts. I had bought foam cushions for my ksc75s. Had a couple of extras. Using some from them.

Here is something on the crazier side that I tried is, I put the small tips inside the azla nozzles. I had to invert the tips to get the nozzle of smaller tips inside the azla bore. The azla nozzles are so wide they accomodate the tips no problem and now you have a more mid range focused iem. Basically getting rid of 'extra' highs and lows. Sound closer to a hd600 rather than 560s, its just an analogy so don't quote me on that though. Won't rec this because the fit is really uncomfortable. I think if one was brave enough the cut off the smaller tips 'mushroom head' part. That would be more optimal, but im happy with my ksc75 foam inserts.

Will say Spinfits cp100 are an easy fix for most people finding the treble too hot in default config. And azla right size with foam inserts close to the driver seems to be optimal from usage till now with a wide variety of music

Speaking of music! Was listening to this track and omg the stage is so wide and positioning of the instruments and voice is phenomenal. When you appreciate the music with your in ears. Then you know they are doing the job well :)

Is there an adapter that I can use with BT module from IE 80 BT?

Wow, these things are seriously amazing. Going through an Ibiza classics playlist on Spotify and I have a big cheesy grin on my face.
Do yourself a favour and try them with the azla sednaearfit standard (black) ear tips.
I have tried plenty of tips but these really compliment the ie600. I keep telling people about these tips & must be starting to sound like a broken record but hey they really are that good. Lol

Do they sound better than the stock tips? I don't have any issues with fit using the stock tips and I have heard quite a few people mention that stock tips sound the best.

Few days back, I had a chance to audition IE600. Sources: A&K SP2000 and Shanling M7. I did bit of tip rolling and they fit best with Azla Sedna tips. Someone who gives these iems a good listen, they won't find IE900 much of a worth. IE900 is surely better in terms of resolution and soundstage but they are priced almost double that of IE600, so price to value prop is better for the younger sibling. The bass is good and tight on IE600, does not eat up the mids which are clean and prominent. Do not find a lot of things missing in the IE600. Buying IE600 is a better decision than to buy an IE900, IMO. The propriety cable sucks though :(

Thanks for the sound quality impressions! Quick note: The cable is not proprietary. The spec is public, and can be utilized/applied without license by anyone.

The sound quality "by way of tip rolling" is certainly subjective. Indeed the stock tips are designed to be the "goldilocks" option out of the box, but we know the reality is that the Head-Fi customer is going to want to experiment on day 1, and will certainly use the forums to look for recommendations for tips to try if they do not already have a supply of them.

Stock medium has always been perfect for me so I never even have to change ear tips when I take them out of the box, but I always try the alternate varieties (foam) just to appreciate the difference.

IE600-3.jpg

Couldn't pass a great deal on an open box IE600, so i'm joining the club as well.

My first impression is that these fit my preferences and music better than IE900. The most important thing is that the mids are not hollow, the "concert hall" preset is gone and music doesn't sound so wrong anymore. Slightly more forward mids also help with bass and treble not sounding so overbearing, but there is quite a lot of both still. This makes for the very clear, energetic and lively sound. Great for the shorter sessions, remains to be seen if it's fatiguing after some time.
IE600 > IE900 for me even if the price was the same.

Resolution and layering are just good, but not on the level of multi-BA and hybrids i've been listening to lately. Details are a little too smoothed and rounded, i didn't have to try so hard to pick them up with IER-M9 for example. Not a fair comparison i guess, maybe i expect too much from just 1 DD.

Fit is very good so far. Not with the stock tips and cable of course, they are rubbish, but i knew it in advance after owning IE900. I hate microphonic cables, and i hate memory wires, and this one has both. I'm using LinumSuper BaX cable that i've bought used long time ago and forgot about :) Finally got to try it and i love it, it's almost weightless, super flexible and tangle-free. I had to cut a bit of plastic from the connectors though for it to fit IE600.

For tips, can't decide yet between Azla Max standard (more open sound) and Final E (a bit smoother treble, a little darker)

Just bought these guys and an upgraded cable from Null Audio :). I have the IE 80S already so this felt like the right time to upgrade. Love having high quality audio on the go and for travel purposes. I'll let ya know how I like them!
