Just bought these guys and an upgraded cable from Null Audio . I have the IE 80S already so this felt like the right time to upgrade. Love having high quality audio on the go and for travel purposes. I'll let ya know how I like them!

I'm now debating my next IEM to get with a 4.4mm connector. I'm eyeing these, the IE300, and the IE900. What general information can you guys offer on the sound signatures, soundstage, etc.? If I'm correct, the IE300 does not come with a 4.4mm cable. So I would need to buy one for it separately. I'm not sure about the IE800, because it may have build quality issues?

Sources are the my Sony items in my signature and the iFi Hip Dac.

I have the ie300 & the ie600 I will also buy the ie900 at some stage.
The ie300 is great for the price I actually bought it to try the fit because I wanted to get the ie900 & wanted to make sure I liked the sennheiser fit.
Having said that I was amazed how good the ie300 was for the price & will be using it with the utws5 in the future & leave my ie600 on cable 4.4.
The ie600 is the best of the two & there is even a few people that prefer it to the ie900.
You won't be disappointed thats for sure.

In general. It doesn’t matter in what aspect. It’ll be interesting to see how well it does with my IER-Z1R

If you want Bass, and a hard V shape: IE300

If you want Mids+ subbass, and an U shape:IE600

If you want Imaging/3D+ and vocals and don't play in your head, and a light V shape: IE900

One is the "better" then the other.

IE300 is more of a consumer friendly sound.

IE600 is more mind-centric, ( think of the first time you tried a pair of HD650 )

IE900 is more of a acquired taste, you kinda have to like the upper mid scoop, but it sure ads to the soundstage.

yeah i'd prefer ie600 over others, still using 650 daily

Very good analogy. IE600 are like the HD650 with better bass and no veil. The 650 are my favourite headphones by far.

I have swapped the cable out to one without memory wire and rolled the tips to Sony EP-EX11 M. Much more comfortable and stable fit i think.

IE300 with the stock Sennheiser 4.4mm balance cable with my WM1Z had the best synergy for my ears. It combined the sound signature of the 300 and the 600 with the vocals and the 3D effect of the 900. I just need to see how much the stock Sennheiser cable costs separately.

They’re are wonderful sounding. I was fortunate to try them all. Thanks, everyone, for the feedback.
