I don't roll over actually, on my back or sides, never have that problem but i do see your point haha. Still prefer the glad helm, they offer other options too besides the helm

i want to buy the HE-1000V2 Stealth in combination with Topping A30Pro and D70 Pro for listening to rock, metal and watching movvies. My question is: Is the IE600 very different because of the u-shaped and maybe more energetic and fun sound signature? So for rock and metal this could be the perfect addition for another style and a more lively sound or would you say that with the HE1000V2 Stealth the IE600 is only necessary for being mobile and at home the planar is always the better choice?

I managed to break one of the little mesh thingies at the end of the nozzle, trying too hard to clean it....Don't ask...
Does anyone have any experience with getting these replaced?

If someone is still searching for a neat replacement for the stock cable for IE600, I finally found something really nice, what is pretty good made, but doesn't cost a fortune. It is Tripowin Mirage cable, ridiculous 18,99 USD (bought on Amazon): https://www.amazon.com/Linsoul-Tripowin-Mirage-Timeless-Recessed/dp/B0C9N4MKK1. It's really nice made, no memory effect, lightweight, but not too thin, very nice chin slider (doesn't move by itself), and of course, the most important thing - it matches the recessed IE600 MMCX connections, there is this satysfying click sound and zero wobble, you also can see, there is no gap between the connections. I really recommend it, under 20 USD it's just great

You'd have to find out how many ie600s have been sold vs the number of reports of QC issues. In real terms what would the odds be? 1 in 10000?

I did a lot of research before buying my IE600s and I don't recall reading or hearing about QC problems with this model. I think you'll be safe and Sennheiser is a big enough company that any issues would be quickly resolved.

This is really difficult to say, as Waddiewadkins said, we don't know the real numbers. If you read Reddit threads (as I sometimes do), then you would think almost every IE600 is faulty and dies after some days or some weeks. But as with all another products, you see always peoples posts with issues, dudes with working IEMs don't write anything. So I try not to worry about IE600 QC issues too much, hope I'm right.

Nice metal parts...the connection securely clicks into headphones Let you know how it sounds.... ha and yes,, in terms of there being a QC issues with the stock ear hooks,, its more a case that I probably fidgeted with them A LOT over 6 months , I mean WAY more than most people would I reckon,, the wire couldn't last with my continually adjusting...

Sounds good to me, I find a/b tricky, at first attempts it sounds the same as expected, I'm no pro at it tho, but for 10 bucks I'm very happy. It's well made....took 3 weeks to arrive

Is there a fool proof way of detecting the fakes? I would need to buy from the used market because of the cost.

The issue of fakes is the only thing holding me back.
