I've already registered to this thread, but would like to confirm that I still enjoy and appreciate my modified ER-4P like after the first year (it took me a while to get accustomed to its characteristic), and I even have a spare pair to be on the safe side. In fact it has become a primus inter pares, as I alternate between it and Audéo and IE 8.

What, I can't believe I have never registered here, even though Ety was my first purchase and I still kept one of them. I currently have an ER4P with the P->S adapter.

ER.6i black for 2 years. Just got the TripleFi 10 and IMHO the UE's are not as bright as the ety's, but they have the mids and lows the 6i's lack. I am gonna give my friend the 6i's once I get my custom TF10's in. If ety only made a triple driver with the 6i's high's, I would be 1st in line.

I love my Eytmotic HF5 (my second favorite earphone after the Ortofon E-Q7). There are some things that I love about the HF5 that I put over all of the other phones I own. I'm on the fence about ER-4P or ER-4S, but I'm reading the that the p sounds just like HF5 except the HF5 has more bass. I'm not sure about the S. Will I get a significantly different and more detailed sound if I invest in the ER-4S? If so, I may purchase them. I enjoy the bass that I get out of the HF5's now. Someone help me pull the trigger, or not. Thanks.

ER-4P owner here checking in. I absolutely love these things, the clearest IEMs I've ever heard.

I just picked up the P-S cable and what a great value proposition...2 IEMs for the price of 1 + $35 (ebay).
