@fejnomit

I use the translator and English is not my native language, if there is a word that does not fit correctly I am sure that you will be able to perfectly deduce what I mean, write in Spanish and I will be happy to correct you too :) Regards!
Ha - touché - but it wasn't the language per se - just the idea behind it - I like to try to remember that what we offer each other are subjective impressions meant to further others' enjoyment - not statements of fact. I was being a little cheeky, I'll admit, but the sentiment stands - no matter someone's history or credentials or whatever they own - it's all just impressions in the end - one no more authoritative than the last.

FiR Audio Rn6 vs. Empire Ears Raven: Quick Impressions
DAP: A&K SE300 - NOS, Class A
Eartips: SpinFit W1 Large

Tuning
Rn6 hits noticeably harder in the bass, with more sustain and just generally more emphasis. Raven hits hard (not as hard) and rolls off faster. Both present with a natural timbre, but Rn6 skews warmer with vocals and acoustic instruments, while Raven feels more crisp. Raven demonstrates stronger separation and a cleaner feeling. Raven's treble is incredibly vivid with incredible extension, and despite the bass being more emphasized than Odin, it still feels like the overall balance is slightly bright. Radon has some similar treble characteristics, but feels more reserved in general.

Imaging/Soundstage
Soundstage width is similar, but Raven is deeper/taller in the soundstage feeling more round, while Rn6 feels sort of eliptical in terms of being wider than deep. Rn6 has more cohesion with a sense of instruments naturally blending in the room, while Raven has stronger definition and separation. Raven is more holographic, but Rn6 feels more lifelike to me.

Quick Impression Final Thought
I threw on a few rock and pop tracks, some progressive rock, and some soundtrack-y stuff (Hans Zimmer, Thomas Bergerson), and I had a preference for Radon6 through the rock and pop and felt that the progressive rock was mixed. Pink Floyd "Time" and Steven WIlson "Drive Home" felt better with Radon 6. Dream Theater "Dance of Eternity" or Yes "Close to the Edge" was better with Raven. Raven had the edge with soundtracks in general – I could see liking more atmospheric pieces with Rn6, but with the more complex, 344 piece orchestra type stuff, it felt like Raven offered much better separation and insight.

We've got some more extended reviews coming later this week. I actually did NOT have Rn6 in my comparison section for my reviews, so this was somewhat extra and spontaneous for y'all.

Im waiting for the black one, dont forget to share some impression here.
I've got my pre-order in, but I also noted that I would wait for the black one. I usually like bling, too. Hoping people post their photos when they get them.
