i was actually very impressed with the mason v3, but overall i still feel like the legend have a slight edge for my library

I'd be upset otherwise tho it really is a matter of taste on this level

Just joined this thread with the recent purchase of the Bravado. I'm coming to this from the full sized open headphone world of the Mrspeakers Aeon Flow Open through the Headamp Gilmore Lite Mk2 and Bimby. I love my desktop setup but strongly considering selling all of it after pairing the Bravado with the Mojo running USB Audio Player Pro on my phone. I'm almost speechless. It sounds so warm yet resolving. The bass is insanely strong and textured . Vocals have great body without being vailed. The cymbals hit with great body of the fundamental note. (Tang vs tiss). A landmark moment for me in the headphone world. I need to be talked down from selling everything thing else now!!

I tried the Bravado with the Ifi Nano BL first and it was just ok. Sort of an airy but unrefined and grainy presentation. Vocals were a bit too thin too. The Headamp Pico dac/amp gave it great body but had a pretty tiny and congested soundstage in width and depth. The Mojo is what really brought out the capability of the Bravado imo.

Man, I hope I can get my Janus D soon too. (Somehow Janus D sounds like a pornstar’s stage name. Haha.)
Currently I’m using Labkable’s pandora together with the Legend X. Compared to the supplied Ares 2 cables, the bass feels more under controlled as compared to the ARES 2 where the bass and treble is constantly blasted and can sound like a mess with some EDM songs.

Now just have to wait for my Ds, I mean Janus D to come. Lololol
