And i'll be eager to read all the impressions and reviews to come.

At least, it'll be a comfort till the custom version is available at year's end. Gonna be a long wait...

i used to dream like this once....it never ends....unles this IEM is the GMA T50 of IEMs, there will always be smthing better

I'm leaving Florida tomorrow to drive to Georgia (9 hours) to listen to the Hero and Odin. I'll report back on Thursday while I make the lady drive us home. Plenty of time to gather my thoughts.
Maybe they’ll give you a sneak peak of the MKII’s also
Have a great trip!

Safe travels. For grins I looked at the road trip time for me from DC, it's just over 9 hours. Hmmm.

Tech spec for ODIN shows Impedance: 3 Ohms @ 1kHz which extremely low. At this rate even the tiny transistor radio can run it
or am I misunderstanding something here. I hope this isn't one of those sensitive earphones.

Sensitivity has a lot to do with it. The Valkyrie are 3 ohm but have sensitivity something like 96db per mW which makes them harder to power. Typically low Ohm IEM’s with high sensitivity are the problem children with hissing.
